Hello everyone,

The jury is still out about which gun is more effective. Let's find out how gun choice and DPG correlate.

Good idea, but you should take into consideration player skill as well. Might edit the options with a 300 wn8 scale, and to lessen the possible options take dpg on a 200 scale.

Doesn't the DPG pretty much imply player skill? The objective is to find out which gun achieves the higher DPG.

Sry man, but I'm confused.
With this data you can take an average dpb for both guns, see how the gun choice pans out at the dpb levels, and that's it?
Thing is, what would happen if you get something like equal ppl using any at a specific dpb level? You can't make any relevant conclusion.
I know I might sound like trolling or dumb, but I feel something is missing, pls shed some light bro :)

Unless players of different skill levels are more likely to choose one gun or the other then the effect of player skill should be even on both data sets (magloader vs single) once the sample size is high enough.

It indeed may be that the different gun choices have different skill ceilings. E.g. perhaps experienced players who have a good intuition when it's the right time to reload the clip may do better with the autoloader, while inexperienced players may do better with the single shot gun. Inexperienced players also often may try to deal one more shot with the autoloader when it would have been a better choice not to fire it but to take cover.

So yes, autoloading guns generally are a bit more complicated to play and benefit from experience and discipline more than single shot guns. But the objective of the poll is not to find the best gun for each type of player, but which gun achieves the better overall result.

Finding out which gun is best for an red, orange, yellow, green, blue or purple player respectively would be a different question.

I have a love hate relationship with autoloaders some are great others really cramp my playing style.

The one on the Chi Ri ia great because you fire one shell a second and its got a 10 second reload thats great 3 shots in 2 seconds

SP1C also fires 3 shots but its one every 3 seconds and a 20 second reload its actually not bad I might give it a longer test as I did read a review and make a stand based on that.

Scribbling away on a piece of paper leads me to suspect the ROF of the autoloader might be pretty good.

I make it 3 shots in 6 seconds;    6 shots in 32 seconds;   9 shots in 61 seconds

Thats not bad you still have the 20 second clip reload to adjust for but thats comparable with other light tank autoloaders.

I wonder if the extra 100 kg slows the tank down appreciably

It sucks.  It can get damage but its top speed greatly diminishes its effectiveness; especially in end games - a time most Scouts excel.

Great lil beast that is just perfect for relaxation.

I play it when i despair fom all the braindead twats in tier 9-10.

I use the autolader and right now i think i have avarage dmg in it of 1440.

That been said - most SP1C's i see in battle normaly do one clip of fire - whit two of the shots bouncing and then getting guted.

D'uh... Exactly because it is not a clear case is why I made this poll. They are all effective but not necessarily equally effective.

I totally agree with Tazilon. And I say again, this tank is a TD with shitty MM, nothing else.

I put my stats in (single shot gun, 1050 av dmg), but bear in mind it is across a small number of games (14) as I really didn't like the machine and aced it quickly.

Except for the fact WNx doesn't really measure skill, this might be a decent idea.

Well,.often I have a game with 2000-2500dmg and the other game I get oneshotted by arty and have 0 dmg. So it depends what map, skill, RNG.

Well i think you might be wrong... against other lights this tank is a bit underpowered..and how often do you face other lights? Very often.. a bulldog (same tier) can kill a SP I C with one clip .. you cant kill the bulldog except when u ammorack him.  Fire your 3 grenades on him and then u can pray to get away but in 99% of the cases he will take you out. Also the russian lights you face with that mm are better than your SPIC...in my opinion it is the weakest tier 7 light.

That depends entirely on the player. When i see that the enemy has a bulldog, then you can bet that i won't go to a position where i can expect to meet it in a 1vs1. E.g. while rushing the hill on Tundra. If i see that no-one is coming along to help me out then i go elsewhere.

I started off with the single fire gun.

Switched recently to the auto gun.

882 with currently the auto equiped.

It's a very interesting tank, with interesting gameplay.

Drives like a Dinky Toy.

I use the single-shot gun and average very close to 1000 dmg. I say it's a lovely tank with that gun, because you ain't gonna worry about a clip reload in which you are vulnerable. It also has better accuracy and aim time, making this thing the most poweeful T7 light at it's tier.
