I use the single-shot gun and average very close to 1000 dmg. I say it's a lovely tank with that gun, because you ain't gonna worry about a clip reload in which you are vulnerable. It also has better accuracy and aim time, making this thing the most poweeful T7 light at it's tier.

I think that's a bit of a mixed bag.

17 seconds are not terribly long. If i survive the first half of it, then typically people can't afford to yolo me anymore without risking to take another full clip from me before they can kill me.

The single shot gun on the other hand lacks that fear factor. A tier 8 or 9 tank that managed to corner you (in that case something has gone wrong already anyway) will often be willing to take a shot or two to kill you. It may not be willing to take three from the autoloader though.

I'm starting to love this crappy handling gun platform (not sure how to call it otherwise).

Just don't play as you would normally play an LT.

Really like SP1C so far, find myself about 50/50 between playing scout and a light TD.

Disliked the autoloader and went back to single shot. Then gave it another shot and now I think I'll stick with auto.

Doesn't the DPG pretty much imply player skill? The objective is to find out which gun achieves the higher DPG.

What I meant that this makes the statistic bonked, since a good player could achieve 1k with autoloader, and 1.1k with the single shot, that's why a wn8 scale would be relevant.

i think both guns are viable, but autoloader is a bit better atm because of chokepoint heavy map design atm. on some maps i would prefer sniper gun though. Here are my best replays from trying to 3mark it:

I started first with the SP1C when it suddenly replaced my beastly Aufklärungspanzer Panther. Rage sold it quickly afterwards, because it was just awful.

A long time later I rebought it, as I started to realised it's more of a TD than a scout, and played with it accordingly. Now it seems playable and sometimes even enjoyable.

I have changed back and forth between the auto-loader and the single shot gun, and now I'm stuck with the auto-loader, as it fits my playstyle slightly better.

And I didn't fill in the form, as I think there's never going to come out any useful information ;)

Looking forward to the day I can sell this tank for the Ru 251 :)

Tried the single-shot gun once. Crap it is. The problem is not so much DPM but shell velocity. Because the shells fly so damn slowly, SPIC must be played at close ranges. This is where the autoloader comes in. SPIC is a mediocre scout at best, but damage dealing with the autoloader works OK-ish when you're less than 100 meters from your opponent. Better yet, circle slower enemies. I've soloed many enemies who require more than one clip to finish. Reload is quick enough that more enemies may not get there in time to help your pray. I'm currently 60% through my grind and DPG is rising steadily; currently my total avg is around 1600 DPG.

I tried the 3 round clip. I didn't like it. Just doesn't seem to fire quick enough for an auto loader. Went back to the single shot. I had more fun with the lower turret too. Helps the profile. Seems to rock massively when firing to the side, I have to take into account shots that would otherwise go hi with the recoil rocking the tank. Please do take into account my tomato-iness...

I find the SP1C quite a decent scout, very stealthy with full camo setup (better than 57F), 500m v/r with vents, optics, food & crew skills (BIA, recon & SA), just the mobility is lacking, but this gets much better with driver perks.

Gun handling can be cured with vstabs, snap shot & smooth ride.

For me it's more of a sneaky, stealthy, passive ambusher & I like it the more I play it.

:)

my crew setup:

Loved the replay, it's great to see how someone else does it!!  Must admit, I had a mediocre game, bottom tier can be difficult in the Firefly.

Anyway, I must ask.. what equipment & crew skills are you running with?

:)
