The tank itself would be okay if it was not tier III... Given ridiculously brutal MM of that tier (making it virtually unplayable in my opinion), meeting tier V vehicles all the time in this tiny thing would be the antithesis of fun.

just another bad tank, nothing to keep here.

one of these stats is from a t3 with limited mm, the other is the toldi and i guess it will have full mm.

This tank is just awesome, even with his bad dpm but is awesome. I like it very much and I can train the gunner without penality, all others premium German tanks haven't a gunner, the commander was a gunner at same time, but here the gunner is a part. So, I'm happy for this gift :)

Even though it has terrible dpm, it is ok tank for me. I sincerely thank WG for that nice gift tank.:)

Hope to see some Chinese and French gift premium tanks in the future.

Good gift tank. But the WG direct nerfed the Toldi reload time. My question: Why? Why kick to the hungarian ( because the Toldi is hungarian product ) players? Why?

Please WG!

Make a minipatch!

Minipatch notes:

- 43 M. Toldi III reload time buffed, 15 shot/sec to 22-24 shot/sec.

(No 28,57 shot/sec as other tier3 light premium tanks. Just normal reload time for Toldi III.)

Thank you!

First game - ace tanker. It is running my Ru 251 crew.

That pen on the gun is fun, but the reload quite slow if you ask me. When you are not getting noticed, you can be nasty :)

I found it just average overall, nothing too special or fun about it, so no point of keeping it. Atleast got some credits for it :coin:

Haven't played my Toldi yet, but it looks decent... except for the really, really, REALLY terrible reload on the gun. Crappiest DPM I ever saw.

I like the fact you can train a Light Tank Gunner ( you can't with T-15 ) , but the view range is poor , the aim time long and the reload time is simply bad , this tank has fairly decent gun but the pentration is poor

I have been playing this a few times and the Pen is okay and you get the normal alpha damage of a light tank..

The Gun accuracy and handling are okay , but the View range is bad

Poor Mobility  it just feels slow in game and you cant active scout with confidence .

Armor of a light tank -but you get Standard tier 3 match making. so you can face tier 5's

It has one redeeming quality in the form of 10 degrees of gun depression, which of course means next to nothing without any view range, armour, or gun.

And then apparently that wasn't enough, so we go ahead and give it the literal worst DPM in the game - you seem to wait ages for the reload ( and the aim time )

only reason I am keeping it is to train a gunner quicker for light tanks - and thats it , i will play it for the X 2 , and then play the T-15

I aced mine, also on Malinovka, North spawn in a T5 game with Scout and Patrol Duty, by bush hopping along the lake side with Binos and Camo net. Despite the terrible view range, you can do a lot with the right technique, a bit of luck and poor scouting by the opposition. would i call that lucky? Well yes, but you just have to seize those opportunities. Still dont think i will be playing it much though, because so many (maybe all) T3 tanks are a lot better....!

Couple days ago I did get 7kills with Toldi.

Well it was a still tier 3 fight but I feel the tank ain't so bad.

totaly useless tank. It's worse than standart tier III tanks. It's blind, paper, slow and horrible gun.

The good news is that it takes sod-all effort to ace this thing:

That being said, I actually kinda like it despite it having so many drawbacks.

WG must buff the Toldi reload time to normal level.

This tank is very underwhelming...

Mediocre speed, crap armor, crap dps.

What are its virtues??

the most important thing that needs buffing is the viewrange,  as it is right now it cant even outspot a tier 5 when binos are active

It is the only premium eh., the only tank with the same crew layout as SPIC. The only way to train your 3 man crew before getting a SPIC

I do not want to even think to play a T7 light with no skils especially six sense and camo at that tier.

There is not a single light tank in German tree to have same crew layout as Ru-251. Unless you want to train in a different type or "wasting" gold for crew role change.

Dreadful is the word I would use to describe 43M Toldi III. The tank has no special traits (at least positive ones), which would make the tank stand out from the rather diverse lot of tier III tanks. If the Toldi III had a single, outstanding trait, the tank could be enjoyable, limited matchmaking would be highly appropriate for the tank. As it stands, however, it cannot properly match its peers, let alone tier V monsters like KV-1 or O-I Experimental. Toldi III needs significant improvements in either its damage per minute value or viewrange (preferably both).

I love the way Toldi III looks, however, after 50 battles I still decided to sell it. I simply could not utilise the mediocre form of the tank properly, even the battles that ended well felt utterly dreadful. I found the tank impossible to enjoy, which is a damn shame.
