Is the Japanese Tiger going to be available in the tech tree?

Edit: Why is that worth a neg rep? It's currently only in the shop and not in the game, i'm asking if it was going to be available in the game for gold. Is a valid question worth neg repping?

wg being wg again...

"It is generally a beginner-friendly tank and does its job as a heavy tank pretty well. If you find yourself in the upper part of the team list, you can lead the charge against the enemy defences and start taking shots while your team shoots them from the side."

"job as heavy tank pretty well, can lead the charge against enemy defences and start taking shots"

yeah with dat unpennable 20mm armor without any slope it is the best idea to use it as front line heavy and take hits loolll

EDIT: about type 95:

"When you have to fight against Tier VI vehicles, don’t push the front line but provide support fire for your stronger teammates."

Doesnt it have limited mm like other tier 4 HTs? Either another fail in article...

...if it really meets tier 6, then...welp...

Quite liking the Japanese tree so far, had to say that played 5 games won 5 games ;)

Interesting ammo on some The type 95 tier 4 had some APHE anti Submarine rounds.

Im assuming these are special Tog killing shells

Well...for me these tanks kind-of ruin the game this week.

1) Everyone's playing them.

2) The tier 5-6 ones are overpowered. Wait 2 weeks, you will see 7 I-O vs 7 I-O in Strongholds...

Also why did you change the order of tech trees WG?

Block Quote

The Type 91 is the first Tier III heavy tank and the first Japanese heavy tank in the game. Its top gun features high damage-per-minute and penetration values. It is generally a beginner-friendly tank and does its job as a heavy tank pretty well.(1) If you find yourself in the upper part of the team list, you can lead the charge against the enemy defences and start taking shots(2) while your team shoots them from the side. Even when facing higher-Tier opponents, you don’t need to be afraid of being useless.(3)

1: Even as pretty experienced player, I think it was horrible tank. Certainly not doing it's job as heavy tank, since it's front can be penetrated by most HE shells.

2:It has no ability to bounce and dies from 2-5 shots (depending on gun).

3: Maybe not penetration wise, but many tier 5 tanks are able to oneshot it even with AP. Even more tanks will oneshot it with HE and as I said, that HE penetreation shouldn't be a problem.

Block Quote

If you already find the Type 91 interesting, you’ll surely love the next heavy tank in the line. It has the thickest armour of its Tier(4) and high alpha damage. The mobility, however, has been sacrificed in favour of very good armour values.(5) When placed in the middle or top of the team, the Type 95 will be a very dangerous opponent and can turn the outcome of a battle in its team’s favour. When you have to fight against Tier VI vehicles, don’t push the front line but provide support fire for your stronger teammates.

4: It has WHAT? It has weakest armor of tier 4 heavies. In fact, it has weaker armor that all tier 4 mediums, with exception of T-28. Quite a few light tanks have better armor too.

5: Again, what? It's pretty mobile with better engine that Type 91, even with added weight of 15mm armor and 9 tons (wait what?).

Who actually wrote these?

I want the tier 3 and 4 from this article, the ones I got was a pair of painfully slow origami tanks.

I'm probably gonna try them out. Haven't bothered with any other Japanese tanks so far as I don't feel they're worth it until T9-10 area. Atleast the heavies look like potential trollage even at T5.

All of those tanks are worthless from a competive point of view. Gold ammo makes all their amor entirely irrelvant. People will penetrate you anywhere anytime.

I am - slowly - grinding the line for looks, but that does not change the fact that in world of glasscannons they are garbage.

Played the ones on test-server that didnt have to long queuetimes, 5 or 6 and up? ... impression is "slow exp-pinjatas"!

Playing alone without toon and having to rely on team, ehm... not sure how much of a viable option that is, or at least go in the direction or rest of the team so you have some support ... because:

-everything pens!

-if something bounces, that is compesated with just random esports shots doing double damage

-should esportsshoots bounce, it will be compensated with arty doing tripple damage

:D

...ok..playing on test-server might be slightly different from live server ... but must admit that IF i decide to go that line it'll be just doing daily doubles, NOT spending a single free-exp on anything, and NOT expecting any great fun at all ... tier X and being gang-banged by mediums were not that great ...
