Now it's a clan i've heard much of on forum and in-game. But who are you guys really? What are your clan known for?

Read above quote. That's who we are, what are we known for?... Well...

But we're more well known for hijacking threads on the forum and being very kind and helpful in general.

Dingerus recruitera - These individuals appear to be charged with expanding the community, but seem to be more concerned in doing anything else but recruiting

The dinger community is so large and diverse that its essentially a pretty mixed. I know there are 5 or 6 very amusing and decent forumites but beyond that has its fair share of spammers, trollers, abusers and general muppets like any other large community. I think at one time it was a flagship for joviality I fear now though that too many cretins have slipped through the recruitment process.

All that balls aside the dingers keep the forum from descending into an abyss of whine. 1 word of advice OP dont argue with a dinger or you will get draped!

You speak some truth Lister...

You can ding all of the people some of the time

You can ding some of the people all of the time

But you can't ding all of the people all of the time

Throughout my time on these forums and this game I have dedicated some of my time to the so called 'Dingers' and their behavior, and have been able to recently to publish my works on them, called On the Origins of Gold-Spamming. If you want to buy a copy of this, just PM me in-game and I can sort you out (I will need your bank details ofc). Anyway as a teaser and relevant to this topic, I thought I would post a snipit of it, to entice your tastebuds

'It has taken me nearly two years of research, data processing and studying, but I was finally able to submit and be successful in the definition of the Dingerus genus. These findings took long hard work to complete, at several points I 'joined' the community in order for deeper research, but now I will explain some of my findings. The members of the genus Dingerus all share some rather interesting properties. Firstly, they are known for quote on quote 'Gangbanging' the forums, some say in an egotistical manner, not only that they have a pride for firing premium ammunition, even at those lightly armoured victims. There is even a ceremonial duty for the execution of an arty player with a HEAT round which goes to a random member of the Genus every Wednesday at quarter past seven. Before I go on there is also two groups of Dingerus, T-D-U and WJDE , although they are separate for the sake of logistics, my studies conclude that they function as one, sharing a channel and a forum (which I seem to have misplaced my password for), in a way in which they were one clan. Finally the most common aspect is that they all are 'Noobs', they lack all and every skill for the game yet still play on like they were having fun or something ridiculous.

During my studies I was able to define some of the species inside the group, so here are some as follows:

DIngerus animeus - This species seems to have a obsession with the Japanese style cartoons, they also exhibit enhanced forum posting abilities (particularly in an area know as the 'Forum Bar;)

Dingerus fishfetishus - The species has a very odd affiliation with fish (not dolphins!), frequently seen with women

Dingerus recruitera - These individuals appear to be charged with expanding the community, but seem to be more concerned in doing anything else but recruiting

Dingerus motntyus - There is only one recording living specimen of the species, and all other Dingerus seem to obey his every command, as if it was that of Stalin's'

Also in this book are revelations of how Madmanus  are essentially Dingerus  but with hacks, and how MM is not rigged.

Your research is incomplete. There was a 3rd Dinger klanu, but it's been dead for so long that I don't even remember what was it's tag.

Could be, but clan search on game portal doesn't find anything and I could swear I somehow found it there, few weeks ago. I just glossed over and kept doing whatever I was doing at the time.

To be fair considering the large forum presence they have, the overall 'quality' is very good. Not all of them may be to your liking, or mine, but I'm struggling to think of more a few who are the muppet category.
