You know they exist but you can't tell whos using them, but most of the players who use such mods are stupid enough to upload their replays. So if you watch a replay of someone else pay attention to the crosshair, does it lock on on the target, when the idiot moves his gun in the targets direction, without the confirmation of the commander(you know that guy that says "we bounced") that autoaim is used, its an aimbot.

Example

And if you see someone burning in a replay and he extinguishes it after just one tick(1sec) with a manual extinguisher, maybe even while maneuver the tank at high/full speed, then its the mod that automatically uses the manual extinguisher.

If you find something like this, save the replay on your PC(important, don't just save the link), open a support ticket, describe what the support has to pay attention to in the replay and attach the replay to the ticket.

With some luck your ticket will find its way to a real human beeing, who got bored of watching porn at work, stopped his support bot 2.0(maybe its 3.0 now, i heared they can troll now) and started to do its work, then there would be a possibility that the cheater gets banned.

If we all do this then at least 1/100 cheaters will get banned and thats better than none.

If you know any other cheat mods that can be detected through replays, tell me.

*Update*

What are you talking about? All mods are legal unless stated otherwise. And i don't speak about that bullsh!t called terms of agreement, nobody ever read them. Have you ever heard anyone banned on EU server for using this or that mod? I have not. So if you bright enough use every sh!t which you think can give you more information in battle. Unfortunately, I myself can use only basic staff such as  XVM, custom crosshair and zoom anything else is to much to handle for my old notebook :D

Dear Kreelan, do not be stupid! You said: "you don't understand how right-click works".... For you information, when right-klick is used, it is announced by a voice. And in that replay it never ever happend.

So the WZ-132 player never used ingame right-klick, meanwhile the his aimcircle autonomously moved from weakpoints to weakpoints.

This is another replay.

http://wotreplays.com/site/2147639#prokhorovka-mordorzg-type_62

It is worthy to watch.

The ingame autoaim, was never annouced or denounced by voice. (Like "Ready to fire", or "Target aquired" or "Target lost" or "Target unlocked".)

Aim circle followed target even if it became invisible. (Please watch when player was aimed for moving arty, then arty disappeared, but the aimcirlce was still moving.....)

At the end, when player was aiming for T30, there is an an believeable jumping of aimcircle - while player's crosshair was stable.

(And please do not say no naming and shaming....

1. the player himself uploaded his replay and he did it publicly.

2. we all know WG EU allowed all mods. So there is no any shame in using them.)

Just a silly question from my side. Have you guys even played the WZ-132?

Also, the person standing occused played 1900 games in a T34  but only has 48% wr. Would that mean that the "cheat" this player is using does not work for T34?

[edit] stop with the witch hunt please.

WG EU refuses to provide a specific list of mods that they consider illegal. That is something very different from all mods being legal. The rules for illegal mods and such are in place, and WG can decide to act on these and ban people for using such mods at any moment. Also, WG seems not to punish the usage of illegal mods for now, but they can change that policy at any moment and retroactively.

So in effect a mod still may be illegal, but WG just chooses not to punish it at the moment. That's very similar to the situation about small amounts of Cannabis in many countries, where this may be illegal (and subject to confiscation if caught) but is not being prosecuted.

Lol you have got to be kidding? I've bind the manual FE to space, so when ever I get hit, my thumb automatically presses the space bar. It will take out the fire after one tick, even with a manual FE without any mods. Did you ever think that there might be some skills in effect before you started crying how everyone must be cheating? You made a fool of yourself, congrats.

This is not possible for any autoaim, it can only be done by guessing where the enemy is moving to.  You client simply does not have the enemy position to follow it.

Could also be your own mods making it look like that

And that is relevant to case at hand, how exactly?

Guy found by OP is using aimbot, end of story. Tank used is irrelevant.

Show me a mod which will move aiming circle around without moving players aim even a pixel. Use of built-in autoaim, or mods helping acquire built-in autoaim don't count, because first: they don't follow weakspots, second: player in replay never used autoaim.

Of course. Because it's possible to make aimbot which follows weakspots and actively selects weakest zone, but it's somehow impossible to have it remember enemy speed and direction to follow after enemy is unspotted...

Do you ever think before posting?

You won't, as far as I'm aware manual FE will extinguish the fire after three ticks of damage regardless of how fast you are. This was done specifically to counter these kind of cheats.

Also aimbots are bad, I've seen a lot of replays where people used it and 99% of the time I could have done a better job of aiming myself. But because most people don't have a first clue and have to whine about something it's commonly used as an excuse. A few weeks ago an entire clan in skirmishes accused us of using aimbots just because we beat them three times in a row. Most of us play vanilla or very few mods, they had a terrible lineup, camped and couldn't play as a team but blaming other team to be cheaters is always easier than admitting you're bad.

Honestly try downloading an aimbot, there are a few sites and as long as you trust your antivirus it should be okay. I'll bet you that after three games you'll switch back if you're any decent simply because aimbot is so much worse than you.

I don't know... in provided replay, aimbot picked off E5 LFP from 210 m, while player wasn't even zoomed in (and player pointer wasn't even on tank at all). I couldn't aim at E5's LFP from 200m in 3rd person mode.

So, your post is directed at players way better then me, or you underestimate aimbots?

EDIT: with time: 11:09 on timer, best example.

EDIT: damn typos

Well I've not watched it as I'm in work, yes if it's not saying target locked etc it would suggest aim bot. I think I misread the op I thought he meant reticle jumping about which can happen with auto aim plus in replays

NO, it is not.

In replays, the voice annoncement is not presented. Never mind it is standard auto-aim or extended one.

My be you have some problem with your own mods?

Then you are not following the enemy you are guessing that he will carry on in a straight line which is why I said....

You may be unaware of that fact, but tanks in this game can not change their speed or direction immediately, in addition, players unaware of danger don't see a reason to change direction. That means that predicting movement based speed and heading is surprisingly accurate, and in fact, has nothing to do with guessing. Unless of course, basic math is magic for you, then I see why you would consider it "a guess". Considering your posting history that's a possibility which I'm not disregarding.

Why, of course I do. But only if post I'm responding to didn't make me facepalm or shake my belief in humanity. Incidentally, that explains why you might have never gotten such a response from me.

I don't use auto-extinguisher mod, but I generally extinguish flames in about 1-2 seconds after I see the fire warning. You know, keyboard mapping does wonders.

I'd think that it is only possible, if WoT client provides APIs to enable such cheats (i.e. to enable mod to trigger fire ex. via API faster, then with the keyboard). That is a far cry from preventing such kind of cheats :). Anyhow, I rly doubt that such capabilities do exist.
