isn't virtus.pro a russian based clan? afaik 90% of all members of their pro-team are from CIS-countries.... they just play for EU because WG let them.. they are not an EU team imho

Russia represented by.. Russia! EU represented by.. Russia!

Whoever loses, Russia wins.

Why separate the leagues if it's going to be russia v russia in every tournament?

The Continental Rumble

WoT EU < WoT Asia < WoT US < WoT RU

That about sums it all up.

Edit: I meant not the player skill level but the specials - tank marathons, login bonuses etc. And I know Russia is not a continent but they sometimes act like one.

RU > EU > NA > Asia  If you compare the average level of the whole server

'Representing the CIS are Wargaming.net League Season 1 CIS champions Natus Vincere (Na’VI) and the WGL Season 1 European champions, formerly known as Virtus.Pro.'

If you read the article, it says VPRO are representing Russia, not Europe.

They may have made a typo then because VPRO is representing Europe

I will keep fingers crossed for Kazna to get to that tournament.

For couple of reasons:

  • they are one of the truly European teams representing EU
  • they represent decent level (sorry PENTA, you may have brilliant ideas and a lot of potential, but your team coordination & execution was so damn lame during WGL EU Season 1 finals...)
  • they are fun to watch (showing human face, unlike Russian clinical precision executioners)
  • they make it explicit that their goal is to beat Russians

So Poznan is KAZNA (hopefully)!

As you know, there are about 7.8 million active World of Tanks players now (September 2015) in the World.

Of which 3.9 millions (about half) playing on RU (CIS) servers.

Average russian player brings a lower income than the EU player, and especially the NA player. But total RU servers bring (for example) 200 millions dollars vs 90 millions (EU) vs 50 millions NA, more.

Total: about (470 millions dollars at 2014)?

Ammount of active players by september 2015:

1. RU (3.9 millions players)

2. CN + SEA + KR + VN  (2.8 millions players)

3. EU (0.95 millions)

4. NA (0.21 millions players).

So, RU servers brings  42-43% total income of game World of Tanks.

EU servers only 19-20%

NA servers 10-11%

Others servers  (CN, VN, KR, SEA..) (27-28%)

kazna just had a bad day and no luck against penta in the qualifier. Its obvious that kazna is a far better team than penta. I dont even want to mention that supreme is known for their online a ss kicking and offline sucking like always, but either way gg penta. rng is with you

see..you made the math...but WG-EU doesn't care about your numbers...treatment still sucks on EU compared to other regions..

They said that 1 more event will come in september like a marathon..i see only the useless WZ one that already was...where is the second one?

If the generated income is according to you a sole reason for worse specials on EU server (that's what you are talking about, right?), then why NA server gets free premium tank twice a month and a gazzilion of other bonuses? You'll probably say that NA is a rising market and WG wants to get more players there. OK, that would mean they do not expect to get more players on EU server, ERGO: EU is a cow to milk, nothing else. Hence- uproar from EU. Getting retired russian team ("We will no more play WoT! Wait, somebody said MONEY?" ) to represent EU is just another straw on this camel's back.
