Rumor has it that AW features tenks, too, so you can compare them very well. But I guess this thread isn't the best place to do that...

A person not very familiar with WoT forum would when reading a topic named "First AW impression" expect some actual impressions of the game.

And even I got fooled by the name of the topic and for a second thought there might be some brief preview of the game. Never again.

Can't say I'm overly impressed by the you tube reviews and the streams seem pretty boring at least to me.

Don't think I'm likely to try it but good luck to anyone who does.

An in depth and insightful post. I especially love the over use of the vowels to accentuate how much better AW is.

think I'll read it all again. Just in case I've missed something.

There are some good things but it doesn't blow WoT out of the water like some people probably expected. The biggest improvement is arty in my mind which actually was kinda fun to play.

Frankly I'm not interested in playing modern tanks and all, though that PvE Stuff seems a tiny bit interesting but still. Think I'll stick to WoT Before throwing my lot in over there.

Watching people stream AW reminds me of when BF2 was released all those years ago. I was used to playing a modded version of BF1942 which was both slower and more in-depth than the original, which I also enjoyed. Then BF2 was released with it's modern setting and everything was shinier, quicker, confusing and spray-and-pray became the norm.

Do they have a Tiger I ?

Do they have deformable terrain and dynamic weather? of not I am not interested in just another F2P shooter.

I so hope WoT loses more than 30% of its playerbase for AW, then Wargaming will probably fix arty, matchmaking and ammunitions (all of which should not take longer than a few hours to an engineer worth his salt) and we can all come back to WOT because, frankly, AW feels awfully bland to me.

To most ppl above: well sry I fell like this community is so utterly retarded (and one can see that from response sentiment) that only a complete moron would waste his time contributing to it, thus I'm merely advertising AW, WHICH IS AWESOME!

Amen to most part of it, except for remember that AW is still a beta, u should have seen WOT in beta (immense trash). Oh and I'm switching entirely to AW, WG just doesn't get crapdone ever (and it would take more than 2 hours to a programmer, maybe a month including balancing analysis) and AW realizes true game killers: like xvm? like lose everything on defeat? like u name it?

I won't even lie. I've played pretty much arty only in AW EA and loved it compared to WoT's mechanics so I'll grind it there.

Saying a game is better is not a comparison.

If AW is so much more, then WoT, then why to come to WoT forum to say that? Me thinks that majority of forum community is very aware of AW by now.

Personally, I dont have any issues with WoT. There are always a place for improvement, ofc, but to relax in the evening WoT is just fine. I dont feel like grinding to the top in a game that just made to open beta.

Plot twist: AW actually doesn't even exist, it's nothing but a huge fake to lure frustrated WoT players into a massive malware-trap when they try to download the game. And FurryPowa is obviously payed by Obsidian (which is also a fake company) to attract more victims.

True story.

My guess would be that just building a release candidate from a source code for WG takes at least 12 hours.
