Forgot to mention that at the moment AW is more fun just because you can pretty much ignore the stats and just play tonks. What does it matter if your team won or lost, or if you did personally pretty good or just not so well (as is the usual for me). If I did less than half my own hit points in two out of three battles in WoT I'd be furious and frustrated.

I have made the switch full time simply because I am sick to death of the price gouging that WG employ.Bought a package for £50 which included 2 tier 6 tanks (T8 equivalent)3 tier 3 tanks (one of which is super rare) 6500 gold,4 months of premium time,2 weeks of boosts and 6 million credits.Add in the fact that all premium tanks aren't gimped in anyway there is just no comparison.

Is AW better game?[edited]no,not yet at least but the potential is there. And I no longer have to give SerB money, which is nice.

The tier 6 premiums aren't tier 8 equivalents, and tier 8 premium tanks have been confirmed for Armored Warfare, they should come round the same time as the Tier 10s

Well seeing as I have been playing since the very first alpha and I have seen repeated comments from the devs stating that tier 6 is the highest they are likely to go for premium tanks.I will kindly ask you to provide proof to back up your statement.Or are you just guesstamating because they are adding tier 10 that are yonks away.

Been playing the game since second alpha, and it was something confirmed by one of the moderators. Will try and find the thread again, but it could be in the later pages.

Yeah, thought so.Pro tip.Moderators have nothing whatsoever to do with development and anything they say about development should be ignored.

Moderators have the ability to ask the Developers, some Developers, game company dependant, share information on request to moderators if it can be published or not, and this was a Senior Community Moderator.

Well from what I know, Tier 8's won't appear in near future, or in Open Beta but much later, after the launch of Tier 9 and 10 tanks.

Playing 90% AW and 10% WoT right now I can say that both games are still fun.

Whereas in WoT a lot of fun is spoiled by super potatoes, arty, RNG and retarded MM it still looks better and after such a lot of yeasr I am quite used to the mechanics.

In AW I am a n00b like most of the player base but I seem to improve and get used to the different approach in AW.

I enjoy mostly fair MM (I had 80% +/-0 PvP games on the weekend), absence of one shot sky shitters and the large maps. Stock tanlks are not completely useless (like in WoT) and you can grind them in PvE.

The ingame attitude of players is much more positive and not as poisoned but I guess it's just becaus AW is only a couple of weeks old.

But as you say shouldn't knock something unless you've tried it, so few weeks back during the stress test (which was first time AW was open to non payers),

You didn't have to pay to get into the Early Acces phase of AW, you could apply by registering an interest and if you were lucky you'd get an invite, or like me, you could get a FREE code in a giveaway, I got mine courtesy of Angry Joe as I'm signed upto the Angry Army.

this picture fits AW greatly ...

:D

played it yesterday again - like 10 matches, 9 were complete camp fest (mostly on pipelines and one winter map - dont remember its name). Oh and on that Winter map - theres some refinery in the middle - i tried to take cover behind some structures - seeing a gap near the "factory" Oh what a surprise - my tank began to make sparkles and screeching sound sound 20 meters from the wall of that factory / refinery. There is some invisible structure / fault in the model so You cant hide there - even tho optically its completely empty - just plain ground / snow. Really great job during testing AW guys ...

Great complaining and whining here on the WoT forums but I bet you didn't take a SS and send in a ticket or post it on the bug forum, as they ask you to do, so they can correct it in a patch did you.  Some people on here don't seem to realise what the word BETA means and obviously can't remember the early days of WoT Beta testing.

i started playing AW 2 days ago, the only issues i have with it is that envoiremental objects have clunky hitboxes.

a destroyer trailed of a truck(without container) is apperently a 10m high solid object of clear air.

but its basicly wot with modern tanks and for what ive seen the gameplay is much more casual. there is no retarded difference between tanks of the same tier( for example the kv-1 vs every medium tank at t5)
