Teleprompter FTW! That's the reason why we can't see Challenger opening and closing hatches, kids- it's hard to do it and read at the same time.

Hahaha my old friend Hirokaraka, just a point there was no teleprompter during this, perhaps I have just got weird eyes, who knows. As for the hatches you really want to waste minutes of a film opening and closing hatches seriously ! In fact the next time we film I will invite you along if you fancy.

Interesting. The Chieftain is able to move things in or around a tank (like hatches) AND talk about that tank at the same time. And it does not take so much time. What kind of black magic is that?! :P

For example here https://youtu.be/Ra8IuAIGLd8?t=9m13s
Or here https://youtu.be/UCLz461INXk

Although I suppose I will be banned now as it is forbidden to mention Chieftain on WG EU forums. :hiding:

Good vid as always - although I'd like to see WG:EU allow you more video time, such as the Chieftain gets so he can really go in-depth.

The tank itself looked a bit ropey - plenty of overspray on the range finder, bow MG pintle, and cupola view ports.

Aaah, the M47 Patton. Famous for playing a part in the movie "Battle of the Bulge" Loaned by the Spanish government to film producers, supposed to be representing "Tiger" tanks. Can't believe I liked that movie when I was younger, whenever I see that movie by chance it makes me cringe with disbelief. So many goofs/bloopers and one of the most historically inaccurate (war)films ever..

"named after the most prominent American armoured commander of World War II." - Nice to see you forgot to also add "controversial" to that as well, a little story:

During the Battle of Sicily, he was removed from action after hitting 2 soldiers suffering from PTSD.

Indeed you are right. Patton was quite controversial.
We have used the term prominent quite deliberately, as it stands for important & famous, it does not equate with exemplary.

Great video, are we likely to see that T42 in game looks cool?
