27 euros for a tank we've been saying we don't want for years. No thank you...

SuperPershing is not so bad. Armor is quite reliable against noobs (vast majority of players) + even pros can hit spaced armor occassionally.

But nowadays, every single WoT news gets bazillion downvotes and hate comments, so im not surprised.

But it's an unreliable credit maker because it's too slow to flank and poor pen means it relies heavily on premium rounds.

Had one pre nerf, sold it when they were giving you gold back.

  • Limited MM
  • Makes decent credits
  • Armor actually works unlike many (heavy) tanks
  • Armor got buffed with HD model
  • Slow, slightly boring
  • Gun is meh, most compensate with gold spam

Lucky I got mine last year free from a mission. Hated it first, now I use it for credit grinding.

Calling a tank that NEEDS to fire gold in most games a 'credit-maker', hmm... :harp:

Well, when I had mine I managed to profit from most matches even when firing more than a few APCR, but those were meager earnings.

Had one, sold it (as I did with many premiums), IS2 Berlin (T7) is my favorite premium now. Will never buy a premium again though. Last premium I bought and sold was T54 proto. Announced premiums look so wonderfull in the shop, but they are all meh... except for the IS2 Berlin. Allthough it has the 122 mm Russian derp gun I manage to hit a lot, earn a lot and win a lot (I win 2 out of 3 games with it). As toptier it rules, in T8 it can compete, in T9 it is still useable.

Defenitely a must buy if it ever comes available in the shop again...

Of course, and this applies to every tank. Super Pershing having meh gun handling and accuracy makes hitting weakspots at range a bit of a chore though. It's also very slow so frontal engagements are far more common than flanking.

Flanking with a Superpishing or just waiting until a tank shows it's side or weakspots

I don't think the tank is the issue, I still think it is a pretty lacklustre offer.

Its not a good tank its a very good tank.

When the Superpershing was first released on the test server I tried it out and decided then and there to get one.

Very first game I held off 3 other tanks and bounced shot after shot, ok few had experience of where to shoot the SP but still.

Next game I got thrashed, and thats the SP all over if you know how to deal with it it can be defeated if not then your in trouble.

Most SPs are killed off by showing the side of their hull or more often turret to an enemy.

Its true it was nerfed part of the spaced armour was shortened and the angle changed slightly it became much less effective.

Speed and I think gun was slightly improved in the same rebalancing WG offered players their money back or at least gold equivalent.

I still have mine and when the HD model came out the nerf was all but reversed and as a consequence the frontal armour upper and lower plate and turret front is back to pre 8.8 nerf standards.

Its got weak spots and I know how to kill one luckily not many do.

The SP played as a medium is lacking, played as a heavy its fine, its quite an effective as a medium tank killer.

Head to head with heavies only possible at longish range and using premium.ammo im afraid

I also think its one of the best looking tanks in the game.

WG ran out of "Gems" and sells now trash of the Week, at least they learn and its not in a bundle with gold. But maybe its just because this tank is already in the ingame shop. WG you should remove it from ingame/gift shop and sell it in 50€ bundles as "Gem of the week" every few months.
