as you can read on the title is it enough to destroy tanks like m1 abrams or any other modern tanks?

I guess no, T-14 Armata (newest russian  tank) imo will not be even touched by sturmtiger shot.

i meant if it already took the shot (i know it has bad accuracy but lets say close range combat)

Assuming it hits (or even hits close) it would wreck it. A regular AT mine has 10 kg of TNT which is enough to immobilise a tank or completely destroy an AFV. You put two AT mines on top of each other and its enough to destroy a tank. The SU-152 could rip of a turret of a Tiger with just having about 8 kg of explosive.

The Sturmtiger rocket has 125 kg of explosives in it. This thing was designed to destroy buildings and bridges. A tank wouldn't stand a chance if hit.

1. no it would not ...

you compare AT MINES that explode UNDER the vehicle where armor is thinnest to direct shot weapon that impacts the toughest armor ...

2. you also  yourself say that it only IMMOBILIZES tank - because HE is woefully inefficient against composite armor - only thing it will do is damaging suspension ...

3. do a quick search on YT, first hit you will find for "Abrams IED" is explosion powerful enough to lift the 68 ton tank in the air - without tank being destroyed (https://www.youtube....h?v=tBbyVRg7eAY) ...

fifth one is an Abrams used deliberately to detonate IED in vehicle by driving over it (https://www.youtube....h?v=EVJqBSr_FEs)...

4. WW2 tank wouldnt, modern composite armor monsters could be damaged, but definitely not destroyed  - surface detonation on hardened target have very little effect as most force is expended outwards to open space

5. WW2 armor had two major problems - cracking and spalling - HESH rounds are based on that priciple. Guess what, composite armor is basically immune to spalling and all modern tanks are equipped with spall liner interior ...

in short it would immobilize it, probably injure some of the crew and thats about all it would do - ti would be patched up, repainted and put back in service.
