Hello, good evening! I don't think I really need to introduce myself, but I'll be using this thread to introduce you to SGTA. Let's get rolling shall we?

"What is SGTA?"
SGTA Was founded on the 6th of May, 2012, by Ding760 on these here WoT Forums. Our mission is to take average and below average players and turn them into competent players that contribute positively to their team’s success. We are committed into providing them all the necessary tools and supplies for that purpose, but there is one thing we cannot provide: their motivation, commitment and willingness to learn.
We consider ourselves open to the most of the playerbase, though to enroll in SGTA, there are some limitations;
-Be able understand (and preferably speak) English fluently.
-Display high level of professionalism within the Academy and respect everyone; in a nutshell, show respect to your fellow students, instructors as well as towards non-members (that includes randoms in-game). Don't be surprised if, as a student, you find yourself removed if you've been in a game and been insulting towards other players, it will not be tolerated.
-An active learning personality; a very good way of putting it is that you get out of SGTA The amount that put into it; SGTA Isn't necessarily a "school", there's no compulsion to actually take part in lessons, platoons and all that. No one forces you to actually put the effort into improving, the decision is up to you. A slacking, lazy student may not improve whatsoever, whereas an active learner will leap bounds. A student in SGTA Put it perfectly; http://www.sgta-clan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=767
-Over 18 Years old.
-Over 1000 Battles and atleast one Tier V (you may technically "join" SGTA With less than 1000 Battles, wherein students/instructors can help you reach 1000+ Battles, which then you can participate in actual lessons and such).
-TeamSpeak 3 (you do not need a mic, but lessons and such are done through TeamSpeak 3 and thus not having it could make it incredibly hard to take part in such).
-Assuming you fulfill all of the above requirements, you must register on the Forums ( http://www.sgta-clan.com/
and write an application post. You'll have to wait a short period of time (a day or two at best, maybe longer but highly unlikely to ever exceed more than 4-5 Days) before your application is accepted (or denied). Also, quite obviously, you cannot be in another clan when enrolling.
"What does SGTA Offer me?"
- Weekly classes covering basics, techniques, teamskills and map tours.
- Frequent teambattles (7/42’s).
- A strong learning environment with common goals – to become better players.
- Skilled instructors willing to help with your improvement. Some instructors are even former students of the Academy. We are always looking for new Instructors, which I will talk about near the bottom part of the thread.
- An open community where a guide will help you to learn the people and start platooning in your first time with us.
- Fun!
"I'm interested, where do I sign up?"
As stated above, drop by the SGTA Forums at http://www.sgta-clan.com/ and visit the Applications forum, where you will have to wait a small period of time before being accepted, when in you can now partake in booty clan activities and so forth. For a much more in-depth description to SGTA, you can read this thread by Vallu01 (the Commander-in-Chief of SGTA) http://www.sgta-clan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7 where it should all be explained in much greater detail than I can put here.

SGTA Is currently looking for new Instructors! Do you want to help new or perhaps below-average/average players improve their game? Are you willing to dedicate time to helping them improve?
The job of on instructor is the most important one in SGTA and should not be taken lightly. It requires lot planning on how to make classes so the students get the most out of them. It requires time as you can imagine. You will need to familiar with our basic curriculum (linked here) and be able to instruct in most of the topics found there. You don't need to know 100% of everything in there and if you have any questions you can ask other members of our staff can help with that. Once you join as an instructor you will be given a full tour of everything you need to know.
From my knowledge, there are a few requirements to joining as an Instructor (these also include the requirements for enrolling as well, which you can read above if you haven't already);
-The will and interest to help others learn the game. If you don't have the interest of helping others, please, don't ask about joining as an Instructor.
-Time to organise and host classes; additionally, if you have any specific "subjects" you feel you are more specialised for, please tell us. Instructors aren't wholly expected to excel at teaching every subject, and where one instructor may excel at teaching about Heavy Tanks and the sort, another may be better at teaching about camouflage and Lights.
-I said it above but I'll say it again, Instructors are expected to know the majority of the basic SGTA Curriculum.
We need instructors to help teach our basic curriculum and advanced curriculum (read this) in training rooms with numerous students as well as individual 1:1 platoon training with the students. If you are someone with strong knowledge and skills about the game with the desire to help others improve, we need you!
Although we would prefer if you did, you don't have to join the clan to be an instructor. We need your help with any of the scheduled classes or impromptu training sessions, Skirmishes or Team Battles. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you, whether you can spend a little of your time or a lot, we can use all the help we can get.
If you are interested in becoming an SGTA Instructor, contact Vallu01 directly.
If there is any information you may be confused about or can't seem to find on the SGTA Site, feel free to PM Sapaki or me (though I cannot actually directly offer anything as I'm only an Ambassador and am not wholly knowledgeable on everything myself, I can forward your requests directly to SGTA Staff on our site), or any of the other SGTA Staff. Do note, not all SGTA Staff are primarily active on these forums.

A final message for this thread. If you wish to show your support for SGTA, please stick this badge in your signature (and if possible, link it to our site as well).

You do not of course have to be a member of the clan to use the badge, wearing the badge only means that you support the cause of SGTA and you have no other obligation whatsoever towards SGTA, nor that you are affiliated with us in anyway. It's a bit like putting a bumper sticker in your car about something you like ("Jesus loves you" etc.). You can remove it from your signature whenever you like and for whatever reason, no questions asked!
Don't forget to spread the word about this, the more "Supporters" we have on the forums, the more people will know about what we do. Of course, other than the badge, if you come across anyone that needs help with the game, you can always point him our way, after all we are a community open to everyone who would be willing to learn.
Pro-tip (courtesy of SuedKAT):
If you want the pic to link to the SGTA site, just click the "Link" tab when you edit your signature and adding the pic:

"Target" is which window the link will open in, the same as the forum or a new tab, I'd recommend a new tab rather than the same window.
Disclaimer: We will not restrict the use of the badge, it is available for anyone to have and use, however, the logo and badge remain property of SGTA. Should you misuse them or blatantly break the forum rules (abuse, profanities, racial remarks, discrimination etc.) whilst wearing our badge, we reserve the right to revoke our permission and ask you to remove it.
Thank you all for reading this!
