Hello all,

I just got banned for "Unsportsmanlike conduct". I have no idea what i did wrong. I made 3 kills in my last game, then got killed myself. Left the game and went for lunch. When i got back, my account was suspended for 24 hours.

Anyway how  i can know what i did wrong?

Unsportsmanlike conduct bans are due to getting reported by many people over many battles.

You are the only person who can say why you were banned.  It could be anything which other players find annoying.

As far as I know WG doesn't go and check individual replays as to what you were doing in the battles, but they do check to see if one guy or one clan or platoon etc. reported you over and over again, and if that's the case they will dismiss the clearly phony reports. So "anyone" can't just report you so much that you get a ban, the reports have to have been accumulated over a large number of battles from a large number of players.

EDIT that's also the reason unsportsmanlike conduct -bans never trigger during the battle, but some hours or even 12 hours after the last battle you done stupid scheit in, often leading to some confusion because the player might have played many decent and polite matches even after his account was flagged as ban-worthy from all the reports just waiting to get checked.

EDIT2 also that's not official info, I might be completely mistaken.. But that's how I understood everything I've read about the matter :hiding:

Its probably that only one effective report per account againts one user. Also i think you need total of, lets say 25 reports in month or so to achieve ban. Just my guess

All we know is that WG do "a manual check".  Clearly they do not check replays because that would take hundreds of hours.  It could be as simple as checking the number of reports matches the number of reports (oh believe me, I have seen such checks performed), or something more complex.

One person alone cannot get you banned though, not by playing random battles.
