repurchased this little beauty recently and struggled for a while. the first 2x m.o.e were easy, the third took me 75 battles with some equipment and crew skill changes along the way.

settled with net, binos & optics, obligatory first aid & repair and ran with chocolate while on discount. if you don't shoot gold you'll still make a profit, 10-30k per game if you perform well.

downsides to this scout are it's sluggishness & tier 5 gun, you cannot race this thing about like the elc or mt25, you have to stalk your prey, using buildings & terrain to hide whist reloading.

over 75 battles, results were..

57% w/r

499 average damage

463 average spotting damage

50 kills

crew skills etc:

hope the above info helps

happy tanking:)

edit:

a couple of replays...

Well done!

Which gun did you use?

I got my 3 M.o.E. with the 3cm

nice one & thankyou :)

yes, used the 3cm. it's devastating in short bursts, i found that a couple of shots then allow the reticle to zoom in a little followed by more seems to work better, rather than unloading a full mag with only half hitting the target.

oddly, the way this tank handles reminded me a lot of the panther:)

I wouldn't know. I hardly ever play medium tanks.

During the beta, it was my favorite tank, but wasn't viable anymore when they introduced the American LT's.

The 3 cm was a nice upgrade though. Now all it needs is upgraded ammo (only a tiny 15mm increase between AP and APCR @ 1200 credits/shot (x12 =14k credits for a full magazine)

I tend to play ambush. I no longer spot since no one gives backup.

I prefer to attack heavy tanks (bonus exp for destroying modules). Park behind them, unload and get the hell out.

Good practice for playing the T49 FWIW

You can get 3MOE on the 16.02 with either the 3cm or 5cm.

Might be perception, but I see lot's of them with the 5cm but with stats that say "3 M.o.E.' no never"

They usually don't have camo either.

Congratulations!

I'm still stuck right now at 89.6% (because of having a few unlucky matches where my scouting spots got rushed by a suidice scout, and as a result I blew up. My fault though, I should be more careful with my chosen scout spots.) but I'm getting there. I plan to get the third MOE on it before I go over to the VK 28.01.

Currently, according to VBaddict I am on 436 damage done and 496 damage assisted, so I'm getting there.

I am using the 3cm however. There is a certain feel of satisfaction when you get behind or to the side of a high tier TD, and unload around 300 worth of damage into them.

In I got my 3 MOE on my 16.02 in NA using the 5cm and I know several other drivers who did, as well. Totally changes the play style of the tank.
