Looks very P2W  to me.

Compared to SP I C it looks better (on paper)

More HP

Better DPM

Better viewrange

Faster aimtime

Oi..... I thought Premium tanks should be better than stock of the same tier, but worse than fully upgraded???

This is PAY TO WIN arms race/powercreep material.

WG you are killing your own game by allowing P2W tanks.

Compared to the SP1C it also has disadvantages :

Crap premium shell penetration

Bigger profile

Likely less gun  depression

No Autoloader

Overall it seems fine to me, comparable to the bulldog with the single shot gun. Powerful but reasonable.

Premium Afk. Panther would have been nice ...

Correct me if I'm wrong but this new thing is Bulldog without the autoloader, just that it trains german crews. Seems kinda pointless ... I also suspect the P2W tendency here.

Edit: I had a chance to see the video, yup, it's Bulldog. So my question remains, what makes it so special so that it deserved to be put into the game as premium german light tank?

It's been bumped up to tier 8, it seems. Looks pretty terrible now, with the same 170mm pen and 0.4 dispersion.

The Germans had the M41 in service and made alterations to the vehicle, which is what this tank is. Notice how it uses a 90mm gun rather than a 76mm gun. This is essentially Germany's version of the T49, except succesfull.

Double-posting for breaking news: the 'German Bulldog' is the mystery tank that will be obtained at the Grand Finals this year.

Not sure why, I bet every single of the 'unique' prems will be available multiple times, even IS3APCR and Mutz, but somehow at the same time I do feel they won't sell the UP AMX ever again and this might follow...

Here are the stats for the "german bulldog":

Posted Image

How does one equip this thing? aiming speed is great (near fantastic) @ 1.8s, does it really need a v-stab? What about maximising view range and dpm? Anyone?

As one can see, the penetration must obviously been buffed, and at 182/250 it is ok.

personally, I'd put vert stabs, vents and optics. I don't see a point in camo net and binos. I don't think this tank will be played as a scout, more like a medium flanker/dogfighter support tank.. Rammer would be a good option as well, instead of vents. But I think vertical stabs and optics are a must.

I've faced a lot of these. These things are horrendously overpowered in terms of DPM. They get a DPM of 2.5k by only adding a gun rammer in to its equipment. It is ridiculous, even more overpowered than the regular M41 Bulldog.

One of the best purchases I've made in a while in this game, lovely little light tank which is fun to play and actually competitive as well :)

I've put Rammer in place of V-Stabs. The gun handling is verry good on this tank, the benefit of V-Stab would be minimal and my 90GF's gun performes just very well without V-Stab. Vents and Optics are my 2 other choices on mine.

No, the RU 251 is a tiny bit better in most aspects and performes sighly better.

What it is, is on the same level as non-premium tanks, which seams to be the new trend for the new premiums these days as opposed as befor when prems where suposed to performe sighly less than non-prems. Though, the old prems performing a bit under non-prems used to have pref MM. New prems that performe like non-prems don't. I'd guess that it evens things.

To hard MM, almost always in tier 10 battles.

And totaly depends on team.

Also, bat and other tier 10 meds is super super super superior for this tank.

In good game, you can make hudge amount of dmg, but this game is rare.

This tank need better mm.

P.S.

Tier 8 tank, not tier 7.

It's a tier 8 light. Hardly p2w.

If it had normal t8 MM, you could make that argument, but it's basically a tier 9 vehicle with t8+ stats.

This are the stats when this tank still was t7. It was still in supertest when i released this video.

Also those are scouts. they are worse then medium tanks rendering them useless on most maps because meds have superior viewrange and dpm.
