T-54lt certainly is. same with T37 vs other tier 6. you get tanks with higher view range, better camo, camo on the move, and on top of that you can even use them to push into the enemy team. you don't have to choose between scouting ability and firepower and the result is full teams of T37s and extremely repetitive games. tier 4 lights used to not be allowed in tier 4 companies for that exact reason, they should keep doing that for other tiers

What about if its like the team battles format? So for tier 10 you would use tier 8 scouts, for tier 8 you would use tier 6 scouts, and for tier 6, maybe tier 5 scouts? That way, they are less influential in damage dealing, but more used for actual scouting and providing vision?

Tier 10 meds or tier 8 lights, I know which of those I'd rather have on my team.

There is no way anyone would pick a tier 8 light over a batchat since it gives no great advantage and has a huge downside in damage potential.

Good luck with breaking the O-I camp on some maps with only t37s. Same with t54s. These tanks are not better if you have proper tactics and a bit of brain. On open maps ofc the lights have the preference... but as I said everything depends on the circumstances. Not needed to introduce tier mm in cws.

anyway i agree i dont think the lights are problem, problem in t6 is that its 7vs7 and its just gamble to bring arty or not in case opponent might camp.

sometimes a good arty player + good spotting can handle it against 7 lights, like Kazna did against us :)

Reduce waiting time between each battle in a tournament from 15 to 5 minutes (3 battles/h instead of 2)

 

Make it somehow visible in garage to all clan members that the clan has a CW battle scheduled sometime during that day (like the popup but functioning and visible all the time unless you chose to remove/hide it)

Make any SH Company run by a clan member visible in garage to other clan members (without having to spam invites)

As explained earlier, I already proposed such thing but it's not possible technically to reduce the time between battles lower than 13 minutes.

Other proposals were already made in a similar manner.

Not really a CW thing, but it's related: The option to see who left the clan and who approved applications (in the clan pages)

more in game features would be cool

-ability to promote/demote/kick people from the in game clan tab without having to do it on the website

-ability to give out gold from the in game clan tab

-ability to sort players by tank type in the pre-battle window

-make it so that moving players in and out of the team would only be doable by commander and officers

-new ranks are ok but the gap in permissions is too big, like between combat officer and executive officer. it would be nice if a clan commander could customize permissions

-it would also be nice if you could see the detailed information on the map without having to zoom in so much

1) T6 and T8 to 15vs15 (those who prefer 7v5 / 10v10 can get their fix in SH)

2) get rid of arty strike/bombers

3)Fix/restore the knockout format to the old system (the one used by 99.99999% of other knockout competitions in the world)

 

ie - 20 teams in a landing tournament:

old:

round 1 = 20 teams bye for 12 teams, 8 teams become four teams, leaving 16.

round 2 = 16 teams, 8 battles

3 = 8 teams, 4 battles

4 = 4 teams, 2 battles

5 = 2 teams, 1 battles

 

new bs = 

r1 = 20 teams, 10 battles

r2 = 10 teams, 5 battles

r3 =  5 teams, 2 battles, 1 bye (zZz)

r4 = 3 teams, 1 battle, 1 bye (zZz)

r5 = 2 teams, 1 battle

You make a valid point :)

On the plus side, something else I'd like to see in '16 is the continuation of the penalty system for no shows - it's had a great impact on the number of technical victories spoiling landing battles (as well as preventing bid-spam).

We had two Byes in a row the other day. That was really zzz inducing.
It should be changed to allowing max one Bye per team unless all remaining teams has at least one Bye.

Are u saying that also notifications telling u that u have invites are bugged ? Invites for platoons, maybe ?

 

Just asking, cause http://forum.worldof...ication-center/ and this is really killing me, the notification center blinks when I receive one, but it disappears as soon as I open the center to check it. And the few times that I ask people to invite and I keep the center opened to click it, it simply disappears again without making me enter the toon.

 

When is this gonna be fixed ?
