The latest update brought 28 HD models and this got us thinking about their armour.

How about improving the Tiger II turret armour instead?

Really,if somebody shoots an angled KV-220 ,they shouln't be playing tier 5.

There is a reason,as to why theres' a stock KV-1 turret on it.

Why? There are enough fictional tanks in the game so keep real ones realistic.

Meanwhile, junks that have nothing good, turret armor, hull armor, dpm, alpha damage, camo values, penetration or speed.....will remain junks.

So will the IS7 become its real size +speed?

Not a tank with ~20% speed buff +20% scale down size

Because we keep seeing all the others getting buffed while the T2 gets left in the dust, what we need is balance, this game isn't trying to be "realistic"

I am going to ask what may be a really stupid question.

How do HD armour buffs translate to an SD client?

SD is just less detailed with lower resolution textures, their hitbox is the same as the HD, but where something is round on the hitbox it might be hexagonal on the SD model, so to speak :).

Thanks. So aesthetically they are slightly different but the armour values share the same increases/decreases.

No, they need to buff underpowered soviet tanks first, to historical values of course.

I do agree with you, but would rather it was done by keeping realism where possible and reducing the aspects of the fictional tanks which are all too often overpowered, overgunned and overarmoured.

I'd love to have kept the Tiger 2 if it was playable but for me (admittedly a bad player) it just felt wrong having the ultimate WW2 tank regularly being one of the weaker vehicles on the battlefield, although I understand this is due to the mix of tank eras and the tiering system.
