I have one: don't tell the police you are building a tank.

Why not something that has historical significance? I mean sure the Pz II's were used in the first stages of WWII but they quickly realized it sucked donkey balls and set it aside.

Well mostly because of practical use, these tanks are boxy and easier to build than the tank that have curves and do be honest when ever someone is building a homemade tank it always ends up being a Tiger, Leopard or Abrams.

Something like a T-34 shouldn't be too difficult IMO, sure it's sloped but it's basically 4 metal sheets at 45 degree angles, then one flat for engine bay and the first models had turrets that were made of flat sheets, like this one:

Spoiler

EDIT unless it's a personal preference not to make Soviet tanks, which I do understand if it is. From the three suggestions in your poll I'd take the Tetrarch or Luchs, simply because they were actual tanks that existed and not just experimental prototypes.

It just seems a little too big and I wanted something less known, when you say ww2 tank battles people always think of tigers and t-34(-85)s. I did had in plan a little bigger list of tank but I narrow it to 3.

I personally have nothing with soviet tanks, quite contrary I really like them, but hey that's why I opened this post for discussions like this.

Well, the Luchs is one good looking tank for sure. Also small(ish) and boxy, which is a good thing i guess. :)

Change of plans!

I will get more time and funds to make this tank, so it can be a little more complex. I will change the pool so you can vote again just need some time to think of the tanks i could build.
