So I picked myself up a T30. On paper it's a beast. And I don't hate it as of yet, but I think it doesn't really work.

Things that don't work for me:

-40% winrate, everytime I get rushed in the reload...

-...Yet today I'm on 2300 average damage in it (min 1500 max 4100)

-either the gun misses and does nothing and I get rushed in the reload...

-...or I do 850+ damage, reload, do another 800+, and kill a tank.

-haven't carried a game (very team reliant), all I have encountered is me running around trying to get some kills but it doesn't work.

So how exactly is this thing played and how to I increase my winrate in it?

T30 plays pretty much like any other american heavy tank, find yourself a nice hulldown spot where you can make use of your 10 degrees of gun depression and start hitting enemies for 750.

Close the distance when you see the opportunity so you won't run out of damage.

Try sticking to team mates if you get pushed during reload times, there is no other solution since you can not fight few enemies at close ranges.

Also it's pretty hard to say how to increase your winrate, the obvious thing is that you need to play better, deal more damage, contribute to the game as much as you can.

In the end it all comes down to picking the right spot at the start of the game and making your shots count.

It's pretty much useless one of the worst TDs I've used.

This is the best examle for a tank comletly ruined by hidden stats. I always think I can use this as a heavy, but with the atrocius gun handling and terrorresistance you probably better camping back, like all the other td tw*ts.

I already sold it, it's nothing special and the E4 also doesn't appeal to me that much. I continued a new med grind :)

Well, I like the tank, one my most played. Do very well in it. I either play it aggressively or mid range sniping depending on the teams. Long range sniping is quite frustrating in it however since shell speed seems slow and the accuracy isn't too good. It's pretty fun to drive especially when fighting hulldown TierX heavies and you spam HE at them for 300-400 DMG . Stick to teammates to make sure you have cover when you reload or keep well away from the enemy if you're on your own. I very much prefer this over the E4 simply due to the fact that E4 seems to have a weaker turret.

I've stopped caring about winning, just trying to do my best at this point. On my Patton I got 1800 avg, nothing special but it's not worth a 47% win rate... Just don't look at the win rate, look at your own performance or platoons seems to do the trick?

There are 2 ways u can play this tank.

1. Stay behind your main HT line and pop out when they are on reload for 750 dmg and than pull back.

2. Mid range sniper (hull down or in the bushes)

And as a rule don`t run off alone, that big reload and very slow turet and hull traverse will make u a target for lights and fast meds.

It`s fun to see how 2 ore 3 tanks are afraid to come out when u point the gun in their direction
