I don't want to be a hater and I am not. While I really like WG shows us a differences and spends time on that, I wonder when will they stop the continous armor buff of russian tanks and when will they start the armor buff of german tanks which are supposed to be that strong the russians are right now.

For example the Tiger and Tiger 2 are sniper tanks? I understand that from gameplay standpoint. But the gap between fakely heavily armored russians and also fakely heavily nerfed armor of even super heavy germans. Just think about that. Is easier to penetrate a super heavy's armor than the turret of a regular tier 9-10 medium's turret? O my godness.

I know this is an arcade game, but transformiun a super structure tiger 2 into a paper while is3 behaves like a superheavy on doppings is just awkward.

Everyone says is-3 is not that strong. Go try it out and you'l see. I just rebought and I had a tier 9 battle with 4.5k damage. Simply Ridiculous.

But again. I appreciate at least the effort from WG side to try to inform the communtity from the unnecessary russian (again) armor buff.

Really like the new HD models, and it's nice to see a small buff to KV-5, but that armor downgrade on kv-3 is just, damn sweet :P

When you are going to increase the penetration of KV-5? 167 mm for tier 8 heavy tank? Ridiculous.

Never, it will remain a ''seal-clubber'' tank forever. They will never buff it's regular rounds or APCR rounds (well, maybe they will buff the price of the premium rounds!). Killing legions of lower tiers ( except hull down T29's and the super rare copula/front weakspot hidden Tiger P ) is what it's intended to do with that retarded gun handling and high DPM. IS-6 is designed with this in mind as well. Both are great against new players and lower tiers but everyone with a brain knows how to outplay them on the same tier regardless of how skilled the player driving it is. It's why these tanks have that retarded DPM while having hilariously impotent penetration combined with terrible accuracy.

I.e. These tanks were intended to be super unfair versus lower tiers and completely uncompetitive against anything with armour driven by a competent player, that's why they get limited matchmaking. It's not all bad, Tiger II players have a reason to angle their armour for once against these hilarious tanks since everything else just goes through that huge craplower plate.

Just wondering,

if Wz-111's side armor has been buffed by reworking to HD, does that mean that Wz-111 1-4 (IX tier) will later receive this Russian-style OP side armor as well? :)

After it has been buffed now, it would receive even more buffs. I thought that it already was No.1 Tier IX heavy at win ratio. :teethhappy:

Anyway nice to hear that my favourite OP tank (IX) is being buffed even more, aside from looking much better now. :justwait:

It's me or there was a fail in the modeling of the KV-3, especially of the turret? When we take a look at the blueprints and mockups of this tank, we can see that the turret is less angled than on the HD version, especially the base of the turret was less large. The SD version seems more correct in its modeling.

What do you mean?

When I check it in that armor inspector, to me it looks like that some parts of the UFP are now stronger, while the other remain about the same. The cupolas are stronger as well. (Better angles mostly) And look at that side armor buff...

Well WZ-111 is even worse now... It was reward tank but that is no reason to make it so dreadful. Terrible gun handling and depression, the LFP is huge and paper made, no side armor, ammo rack damage every game... There is no skill and equipment that can help this terrible tank.

After this update it catch fire every game plus you add even bigger cupola weak spots. Great WG!

So you post that the biggest changes were done to tanks like KV-5, while somehow you skipped the part that nerfs the turret of Comet into oblivion without any buffs to compensate... Good guy WG, as always.

Does the HD client and the SD client play on the same server/game sessions?

KV-3's new turret actually has worse effective armour than the old one and I liked its power to bounce...

Looks like this tank needs a new playing style.

WZ-111 side armor buff? Are they high? The removal of tracks acting as spaced armor is a nerf, especially against HEAT. Not too bad of a nerf, but definitely not a buff. What they changed under that side skirt doesn't really matter any way. That part was already doing its job.

Why you cant make as it was or as it should be? Real numbers, real values for every single aspect of tanks. There wasn't perfect tank, but they tried to research one. Each tank was different; one slower, another accurate, next one bigger and so on... Whats the point of fake balancing tanks in to same level?
