So can anyone tell me where the weak spots are for those 2 tanks. I have more problems hitting E100 than Maus as i dont know the weak spot.

E-75 is the lower plate on the front you'll get through everytime. As for E-100 possibly the same, but I'd try your best to flank it and hit it below the side skirts.

E-100:
lower plate (chance to set it on fire thansk to gearbox)
Range finders ontop of the turret

E-75:
Lower plate
mudflaps
headlight
viewports (hull and turret sides)
commanders copula

E-50:
same as E-75 + the front plate itself is less thick.

Try to flank the E75 and E100, then they are no major problems, as almost everything goes through their weak side armor. Especially the E75 turret is not armored enough on the sides, so it gives a nice target if the enemy shows it to you ;)

yes and no
turret is 160mm on the sides so if you don't hit it straight on it bounces, and hull is 120 i think so same story ;)

I have no issues shooting them from the side :) but thats not the point hehe. When they come at me directly thats the issue. :P

I found e100 armor to be amazing.

When i get pissed i switch to premium and put some holes in them.

u wont penn the E-75 everytime on the lower front plate. u got a better chance of pennetrating the E-100 there..

Yeah, you won't pen if you play Tier 6 and lower. With my VK3001P and its 88 I don't remember bouncing the E-75s lower armor one single time. Just make sure you fire at a reasonable angle.

As if, the only way you are going through there with the short 88 is if you are using gold ammo, and even then it's far from a sure deal. Much like Ausf.B, the lower front of this tank is made of solid concrete with a nice slope on top that even my Patton has issues chewing through frontally, unless it can be shot at a completely straight angle.

E-100 on the other hand, ironically enough, like k3rm0r said is much easier to pen frontally on the lower plate, even at moderate distances. The tank looks tough, but it really isn't - just point at the lower plate and let loose, appropriate guns go through it with comparatively little issue. If i have a choice which to face frontally, i would pick E-100 over E-75 any day. (Though you can always lob HE at E-75 at distance, it eats them up like candy).

If I am taking my IS-7 out for a spin though it doesn't really matter - the S70 has little issues with either.

This is what happened when a IS-3(with BL-9) shot me 4 times while I had myself at a slight angle to him.

So I don't think it matters where you shoot it :P.

That must be HE shells... Yes, they do leave marks, on some tanks.. If 4 390 avg damage hits penetrated you, then you wouldve lost more than 650hp... Unless two of them was 0% damage hits. The S-70 bounced three times on the upper hull of a e-100  :)

Maybe might explain why I've not been dinging alot so could be that, but then again was gold ammo on the test server so I dunno.

Gold ammo on BL-9 is about the same as regular AP S-70 and that is not going through the upper plate on E-100. I have dinged quite a few shots on it  :)
