Yeah, and a lot of very sensitive players are claiming for celebrating this day with a special event. Tremendous.  <_<

Beginning of war should not be celebrated in game - end of war suites better for some fun events :)

I say lets make a 5x Xp event only for german tanks. And later ban all polish players because they lost the war

Was just joking guys, no need to be angry. Just make a Blitzkrieg event for Germans. Wait, do i hear biased?  :Smile_harp:

This happens everyday though the world, hundereds of thosands of people are killed every year.  Civilians are killed all the time in war, look at the last 10 years, how many civilians have been killed in iraq and afghanistan by all sides.  In africa you have Tribal Wars that murder men, women and children alike.  Its never going to end, humans love war and love killing each other.

This is what comes out of war:

http://www.maybole.o...nia War Cem.jpg
http://soldatengluec...erchampigny.jpg
http://www.volksbund.../oejendorf2.jpg

And remember, they were nearly all between 18 and 30 who died. All died to early and in pain.
War should never be celebrated in any way.

I know we love to play war games, but keep in your mind what war does to the people who have to fight it!
For us its fun these days to play the games, our ancestors were fighting to survive in reality!

unfortunatly wars will never end whilst we all sit idely and let currupt politicians in every country get away with the ignorance they serve upon us,they robbing the general public for taxes for defences and war, some people will always be power hungry its the way of nature....sad but its true <_<

God dammit...you want an Event for the terribliest thing ever happend
No damn Event for the start of World War II. Not for Germans, Polish or whatever.
When you want to celebrate anything than do it for the fact that it is over for so long!
Im German and iam really sorry for that shit the Nazi Party did back then.
But for now no one who lives can anything for this...
So be happy that war is over so long and the nazis didnt won it.

Whats Ok in celebrating battle on Prokhorovka, and not OK celebrating start of WW2 ?
In one Prokhorovka battle die 6000 soldiers and about 350 tanks was destroyed and 500 was damaged. - http://en.wikipedia...._of_Prokhorovka
What is to celebrate by event ?

Maybe we should stop celebrating any event related to WWII and just introduce monthly specials... (just my two cents)

Sorry i think you missunderstood my text or i hasnt wirtten it good enough.
Sure im not thinking that you should celebrate any of the battles. What i wanted to say is that you espaccially should not celebrate the start of the war today or any time.

For me devs can't act like nothing had happend in the 1st September of 1939. "This" is just "too big". They should not celebrate, but dignify/honour this anniversary or just submit an official note.

Only a twisted person would celebrate beginning of such a horrible thing
