The only USA td I never liked was the T95, felt like going afk at the start of every game.

Yeah its really worse than arty, i mean if you follow your teammates and break somewhere through sooner or later you will be alone because they all ran away or got destroyed before you, if your base get captured you can't get back in time if you more than 200m away, all you can do is, stay in your base and let your team play, just like arty but without the satellite view.

only good thing on this tank is gold penetration 258mm

This and the fact that the T110E3 gold ammo will still bounce the turret.

Even fully upgraded I found the T28 prot to be terrible.

T28 Prototype

I'm playing right now with the 105 gun.

It's, by far, the worst World of Tanks experience I ever had.

Challenger says Hi. I'll take back the T28 P to any day as long as I don't have to play that tank again. Even tho both are highly situational to get the ability to "carry"

I'll agree that the M/M sucked for me too, and as a result I had to fire my fair share of premium ammo, only way to pen most T9's coming at me like a raging bull. However the TD itself was pretty good, with decent camo on maps where I could find somewhere to benefit from it. It's definitely under gunned for fighting T9's, however that's the same for most vehicles when they are bottom tier. Do your best, while accepting you are in the battle so some scrub in his T9 can jizz because he got to kill your T7 TD.

i think the issues with the tank is that in some key stats its not much over the hellcat, i mean if you buffed the hellcats HP id probably rather play that at tier 7

Well I guess the worst grinds are those that you want to get over with as quickly as possible, but they do take a longer while to finish.

Anyways, the T25/2 is far better than it's reputation, the APCR rounds have awesome pen, and it's a versatile turreted TD.

People just suck with it using AP only, or suck at playing different kinds of tanks in general.

Or I dunno.

I think it's a cool tank.

Well I'm grinding it, and it's nowhere near as bad as T32/T54E1. One is slow as [edited]with autopen turret and M6's gun, the other has 171 pen at tier 9.
Hang on OP.

I found the T25/2 fine, if not really very exciting, and with a fine grind. Seriously, the mobility is alright and the top gun is only a marginal improvement over the stock weapon. Actually one of the more fun TDs to play as you don't just camp and you have to actually get into some decent positions to use that gun. I rarely (if ever) fired APCR and I did fine in it.

To be fair, the stock T32 does suck. The stock turret is made of cheese and a T32 that can't go hull down is a very sad panda indeed.

I found the T25/2 to be pretty decent too. Not great but not bad either. Had some bad games in it but also decent ones. Mostly followed the meds and played as support tank at the back of the med frontline.

Oh and don't bash my Hellcat winrate :( I was a young newbie tanker back then haha. Haven't played it since.

If you think that T25/2 is bad then just abandon this line right now. T28 Proto is one of the worst tanks in whole game with it's stock grind being one of the worst too. Not to mention T30 which is basically an ISU-152 with turret and some patches of armor but on tier 9. Sure that pen and alpha is tempting, but not even E3 is worth the pain of grinding. I realized this after eliting T28 Proto which cost me more nerves that it deserved. Boring, slow, with no armor and mediocre gun.

Well, T25/2 is support medium and also excellent ridge peeker, it has bouncy mantlet and good gun depression. Kind of pershing with nerfed flexibility&agility&hitpoints but has better dpm and is faster. I guess many are fixated with triangle symbol and simply using it wrong. I never had problems with this tank, not even in T9. I'd pick it over any T7 medium.

There are three, maybe four (but that's a stretch), tanks which you cannot penetrate frontally with AP in that line up.

Out of those, there's one which might give you some problems with APCR.

I see no problems with that MM at all. None.

Just take the corridor which allows you to keep a healthy amount of space between you and your enemies and then plink away at them.

well i too liked the T25/2 and indeed the T28 prot. The important thing when playing the T28 prot is to engage "assault" mode - then the enemies have to come to you (well half the time).

So far my worst experience is with the Charioteer. Having to farm his modules, because I do not have any stacked up exp is hell. At t8 you get a stock grind that requires you to get the tracks first for weight issues and the best part is ..... untill you get the 105mm gun ( which must be awesome btw ), you will go through hell. 230 alpha with 230 pen has to be a joke. I was at least 5 times close to selling it, but managed to hold my nerves until the 105 mm gun. As for the tank I think it is enjoyable at his final form, but as a stock grind at t8, this is literally hell.

When playing it I found the T25/2 not to pleasant, but looking back, I guess that was more me then the tank.

The T28 Prototype? I love that thing! Might not be the best in it, but I really enjoyed playing it!
