I would very much prefer a standard upgradeable tier 5 tank. Yes it has a worse credits coefficient, but you can be more useful in battle = probably make more credits than premium
I currently use Stug. Makes money every battle, whatever happens. Very cheap to repair, very cheap ammo, and it can do wonders.

EDIT: If I had to choose a premium one, I would probably choose T-25 because it has the best gun.

Ram2 and T25 are great fun, I have them both.
Ram2 can take a lot of damage (nice armor with 76 on front and 63 on sides), amazing rof from the gun but doesnt deal much damage. I have managed to capture the base alone in 1min when I was top tier of a battle, fun!

T25 cannot turn well but has amazing speed (60km vs 38km for ram), both armor and gun are decent, again you can do something in the game :)

KV with 152mm cannon firing HE shells would probably outperform them in every way. Consider getting one, and platoon up with some higher tanks to drag you into T8 matches frequently. Just play careful.

I got ram-II with 100% crew with repair skills and rammer, gun laying drive and spall liner. Is it worth it? Hell yeah! That pew pew shooter can make cheese out of any <T7 if you know how to play with this killing machine. It is not uncommon to get up to 5 kills in its own tier matches.

T-25 is a very good tank. Fast, it has a good gun and 610 HP. Only disadvantage is the tank and turret Traverse speed. All in all it's a fun tank I like it.

If I would buy one, I'd probably get the T-25 (1500 gold) because it looks good and has decent penetration. The real question is : what kind of battles does it get into ? Does it have more lenient matchmaking than normal tier 5 mediums ? Against higher tiers, you're kinda screwed.

I got a T-25 and I must say it is decent, and my T-25 is not fully twinked nor has it 100% crew. When matched with equally tiered tanks it is good. As Tier 5 you can get matched rather highly at times, when I do is switch over to HE and spam. ROF with the guns is very high and you can really annoy those tier 8s with some module damage.

I dont have all 5 tier premium tanks, only Ram-II, Matilda and T-25.

All is very good.

But T-25 is BEST. I have 58-59% victories on it!!

Very fast, enough HP (610), good and presicion gun.

May easily kill KV, T1 Heavy, any others tank tier 5.

And also some tanks tier 6-8.

Havent tried T-25 but for my money the Matilda.  Totally armoured rolling block with a decent gun.  Only short comings are speed & not enough ammo.  Matildas the KV-5 of Tier 5 :D

Churchills shit & an easy one shot kill to any 88 never mind the 107's.

T-25 !!!

Good penetration compared to other premium tanks, good speed and good armor.

Don't know if I'm only lucky so far, but the T-25 seems to do extremely well in "shooting-on-the-go"
Driving at full speed, aiming at some enemy away, let rip of a shot and BOOM, bullseye !

Best invested 1.500 Gold ever  :Smile_great:

I know a lot of people don´t like it but the Churchill is my favourite.

It´s got kind of a chilled playstyle, has nice armour, accuracy is great and with a little shooting proficiency you can even sting the IS.

What's best for moneymaking depends on what supports your playstyle best.

The Churchill and RAM 2 both feature the 6pdr wich has a very low damage per shot but an insane rate of fire. To earn decent money with any of those two tanks you need to be in a constant engagement. They both are realy bad for peak-a-boo playstyle, as you can't take advantage of your superior rate of fire in those situations. The Churchill features great armor, the RAM 2 has better mobility. Both suffer from rather poor gun depression, the RAM 2 a bit more than  the churchill.

The T25 has quiet a few advantages, it has a very high speed, good acceleration and a gun that outperforms the guns available to some other, regular tier 5 mediums (it's basically a 7.5cm L/48 with 10 more penetration). It's not without flaws though, it loses a lot of speed when turning and the turret is rather slow to rotate. The armor in itself can be bouncy, but it's not that thick. It's probably the best premium for peak-a-boo combat and rapid redeployment. You can also brawl and circle some tanks, but that need a bit of planing, as your turret is, like i've already mentioned, rather slow to turn.

The Matilda is nice tank as it's armor is good all around, so it's not that important if you show the enemy your flank once in a while. It's not that thick though and you'll get penetrated quiet easily by teched out tier 5+ tanks. It's gun is good enough to engage most enemies you'll encounter. It's basicaly a rather chill tank to play as it has no real weak points you have to watch out for. But it doesn't excell in anything either.

That leaves the T14 heavy. It has nice sloping on the hull but the actual armor is pretty thin, so you're realy weak against HE spamming. Also you got quiet a few weakspots in the front (the machinegun port for example). The turret itself has great armor though, the 75mm has problems engageing some other T5 heavies but is enough in most cases. It's a great way to get used to the hull down playstyle of later US heavies. But i don't like it that much.... that's why i question my sanity for buying it again yesterday.

I like more the Churchill, when you are top tier with very good armor and rapid fire gun you will do massive damage. It can also stand against higher tier tanks but it's gun won't be much of a use in tier 7+ battles.
