I don't feel like this guy is well enough prepared to train an average player to get at a top level since he's also ,,average" at this game...

" up to advanced scout tank training with some of the top EU players,"

And where are these Top EU players? I don't see any in that training lineup. False advertising on the WG EU portal? Don't think I've seen that one before.
You should only preach what you can put into practice. In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

He might be average overall...but his recent stats must be:

http://wotlabs.net/eu/player/Sir_Havoc

I'd say good enough to teach red/orange/yellow wn8/win rate players...

That's just my opinion.

I don't see any of the alleged "top players" that made deflamatory comments in this thread offering the sort of training Havoc are...

Also considering the clans of the two most vocal of them... I'd rather be trained by Havoc... less trolling and vitriol in the game chat from them.

Looks like you're pretty much just talking about me here. But I'm not an alleged top player, I am one. In every sense of the word.
Little may you know that actually I do spend time training players. I may be in FAME but I am still the Deputy commander of the clan INC, where I have run training sessions with the goal of improving team play and coordination for clan activities like Strongholds. To make it more enjoyable for all as winning is fun. I also FC in INC and significantly raise the winrates in any of the modes that we play together. On top of that I stream ALOT, usually 5-6 times a week as I am on holidays atm where I put into practice what I preach by dominating randoms. I answer any questions that anyone may have about the game and give them tips to improve if they wish. While at the same time providing gameplay far exceeding anything you will find here.
The second thing is a typical stereotype. I'm in FAME and therefore must not be a nice person. I hardly ever write in the ingame chat, 80% of what I write is saying Hi to people who recognize me or people I know. I'm only even in FAME for about a month or so anyway.

Practice what you preach. I have watched the streams and a good number of the videos available on this channel and I can inform you with confidence there are many better sources. For all the flak he gets I would still recommend a new player to QB as he has actually gone and got good at this game.

Personally I would love to see any of the so called "top players" with the same old negative attitude, for once, just for once, step up to the plate and offer the help and encouragement that Pete Havoc offers! I don't see any of the above, that are always first to complain, doing anything for the community as a whole but complain at any initiative that sets out to give the help and assistance to any player wishing to improve.

Did you read anything that I wrote at all? Why do I need viewers? I didn't quit my job to try and push a youtube and streaming career with a 50 pound tip jar EVERY STREAM. I make 0 money off my stream bar the infrequent few euro donation from some generous people.

Since 2012 I have been in INC and have since then become the Deputy Commander (but acting Commander due to frequent Commander absence). In that time I grew into one of the best players in this game while at the same time HELPING MANY MANY other players improve. Its almost like you just saw my stats and jumped to conclusions, or maybe you say the clan tag and jumped to conclusions?

that are always first to complain, doing anything for the community as a whole but complain at any initiative that sets out to give the help and assistance to any player wishing to improve

I am not dissing a teaching initiative. I ALWAYS have supported worthy teaching initiatives. However this one I dont deem fit to instruct people based on what I have wrote previously. For someones who is now taking a shot at me you should maybe have a little evidence to back up what you are saying. Not just impressions, evidence. I've laid my cards on the table, where are yours?

Sounds like a great idea to me, i'm just a avg player but theirs so many basic things i don't know about the game mechanics!, that i know would improve my game. And anyone prepared to offer their time to help others gets a thumbs up from me.

Of course but who are you to judge character?

The man you're accusing of doing all this for a few extra twitch viewers is someone who taught me how to be infinitely better even considering how rare I'm able to play these days. I have been writing guides and helping out people on this forum nearly four years, a lot of that what I learnt from Aniallator, playing with him and watching his streams. He also taught me to be a decent commander, I'm able to achieve a respectable win rate when commanding skirmishes.

Most importantly he turned a bunch of yellow and green players in INC into a CW team that held a province for a month an a half, having the second best win streak and regularly winning 70-75% of our T8 skirmishes, even without him.

And I bet there's at least a dozen other people like him who get no credit or are rarely mentioned. I may agree or disagree with the choice of mentors or methods used by this academy but that's none of my business. However I'll openly say that the player you're attempting to discredit is one of the top players and I'd call myself lucky to have ended in the same clan as him. Your arguments are pathetic, biased and could easily be turned around but I respect the base idea of this project so I'm not going to do that.

Don't you guys have a break from this? Just like in real life , a good teacher is not the one who is an expert in a certain domain but  the one who makes that information easy to understand to others and knows who to present that info. I had seen awesome specialists but they lacked teaching skills.

Hey guys,

Internet is the internet, but if you arent interested in the trainings and you think you are better than Sir_Havoc or any of his trainers, then stay clear of this post. His trainings are purposely directed towards the newer players who have yet to play Thousands upon thousands of games so putting your frustrations towards this not being the right source for you is 100% pointless.

I am a H3VOC member, I'm not here for Pete (Sir_Havoc) , I hadnt even heared from his YT or Twitch until I joined the community, Im here for the awesome people here who dedicate their time to train people who havent quite figured the game out and want to have fun learning rather than getting complained about what a bad player he may be. To all critics: We enjoy the game and want others to learn to play better so they can too even if they have to endure any restrictions. (age, illness, etc.) You can hate what you want, but at the end of the day. we're teaching average to below average players, and you complain. So who is the better teacher, one that complains about bad players so teaches and takes on only the elite, or the teacher which wants everyone to get better and enjoys themselves doing so?

World Of Tanks University, has been founded by SirHavoc with the purpose of offering players the knowledge and skills required to get to such levels of players in such communities as [FAME] and its affiliates, I personally play this game as a pass time, but I know now a lot more about the game, and should such training have been available to me earlier in my time playing (before id played 6000+ games) then I may have been fortunate to have the stats that a lot of players like yourself ANIALLATOR114 actually have.

You are an example of the kind of players we want to help build in this game, we want well trained/experienced players who have an in depth knowledge of the games characteristics and its mechanics. Personally I think having the influence of a player like yourself to perhaps take one of these community training sessions?

Id like to ask though that if you have a criticism of our methods and/or our trainers,  you approach us in a much less exposed manner and perhaps send us a PM in response?

Its almost like you didn't read anything I wrote as this is obviously aimed at me again. I took a lot of time training and helping players in INC, most commonly yellow players, for almost 2 years with resounding success. Undefeated on the CW map for 29 battles in a row before it closed for the last campaign. Schmeksiman outlined this above aswell.

I'd say the problem is just in the false-advertising. IMO, it should just be " up to advanced scout tank training" instead of " up to advanced scout tank training with some of the top EU players,". Everything else is perfectly fine and it's a great initiative.

I'm all for having dreams and aiming high but frankly you will not get to the level of FAME or any other top clans from this kind of training. If you go halfway there I would call it a resounding success. Also the bit in bold, eh no....

Now you did kind of "offer" me the opportunity to take on of the training sessions but I will have to decline for what I would think are fairly obvious reasons by now. The biggest problem I have with all of this is the false advertising and false conceptions of oneself displayed here. If you want to build a community for people to get together and enjoy themselves then go for it! That's great! BUT if you start advertising yourself as a place to learn then you better have the credentials to back it up. A bit like how teachers IRL need a lot of training and need to pass tests before they are permitted to teach.
