Time for another map tour! This time, we are taking a closer look at Widepark, its topography, landmarks, points of interest and, of course, which places were used as an inspiration for the map's design.

I lived in Eger for eight years and passed by that church thousands of times, saw it almost every day and now in the game I couldnt recognise it yet :D

Next time when I will be in the Widepark I will take a closer look.

Im happy it's out of high-tiers as it is - however would be nice with a 800x800 og bigger map with more access to the middle of the map instead of having a map where people camp in the corner and only have scouts in the center trying to peak over (usually with bad results)

My favorite map of all time in WoT.

If you learn to play careful in the middle with a light/medium (maybe even a quick/turreted TD as the T67 or M8A1) - without tanking any risky chances and just constantly spotting you will most likely have an amazing time in the map. (If also at least someone covers you form those yolo rushers).

It's the only map with that size in the game! (smallest map). The tier rotation on it is perfect! The only big problem is breaking the TD camps in the corners... at least it's got positions for TD's, but hey - most of the time I'm not playing TD's these days.

I'd rather see WG making a clone of WidePark (SnowPark) than Ruinberg - because of the specific tier rotation on WidePark.

I would like to see this map also available for tiers I-III, I am sure it will be good for beginners to learn the game and it looks more interesting than symmetrical Mittengard.

Even for lower tier games it feels small and crowded, wouldn't be bothered if it disappeared.

Nice renders, they look like a scene from a movie or real-live photos. Leveldesign is great in WoT.

It got ''re-tiered'' (what kind of word is this, anyway?) just like Komarin got removed due to viewrange issues. All you had to do back then, when Komarin was for all tiers available, use your tier 8 LT go middle, and better yet, 2 LTs in a platoon, and you got pretty much all the map covered for arty etc.

Of course,im talking about the past, but past is not in our control.
