I love my t50-2. It took me a while to learn how to scout but I am getting the hang of it. I just hope it isn't messed with.  I don't care if WG make it a tier ten tank just don't make it poo.

It's getting deleted and replaced with another tank with the exact same stats.

Wouldn't that be close to useless though? :Smile_unsure:

Is anyone using automatic 37mm cannon?? Because I am using it and I think that gun is just perfect for this tank. Of course it isn't working on heavy tanks (even back armor) but you can destroy any artillery unit while passing by it :Smile_trollface-3:  and back armor of even tier 5-6 tank destroyer or medium tank.

I don't like it, If I need killing high tier arties the 37mm sometimes can't cause damage at all, even from behind. My gun is the 57mm, I load 30 shells only to reduce weight, sometimes even less, no more is needed.

My best scout in the last months. El Halluf starting in Base II, I got 8 shots but due to the low tier of enemies my T-50 could survive enough time.

I did the risky maneuver of crossing the ravine by the open centre-left side and then running all the opposite slope very close to the upper part, from left to right. Later I turned back before the high cliffs on the right and went left again. The enemy was noob and all of them were camping there.

It's all about risk, imagine real scout drivers, their job is to get Intel which helps other tanks in advance. Full joy of adrenalin, outsmarting and sometimes pure luck, making scout tanks extremely close to the real battle situations!

i also had a good run on El Halluf but i was in my T-50, but this works just as well
in the T-50-2.

Hey guys,

I am just starting to get the hang of scouting. But I am a bit surprised with the minimal XP you get... (as you can see in the picture of Frank1081) how is that?

Damaging tanks is nearly impossible, so scouting is all you can do...
Any advice?

Hi, the trick is not only to spot the enemies, but also keep them spotted. If you are the only tank that keeps the enemy spotted, you get 50% exp of the damage they get. So suicidal rush might bring you medal, but not a good experience. Also when you are scouting, make sure you have some fire support. At least arty support. Then just spot, retreat, spot, retreat, spot, retreat....and repeat until they are all dead :)

You will dmg tanks later, when u have full crew and good skills mixed with solid mm - max tier 5 tanks. For now, try to destroy artyes and other lights or sniper some sides or rear, but be careful, its not your role. Put vents, optics-binos(filter(camo net)) and msl first. Your is to chose. There is a lot of scout styles, first of all, learn how to survive and bring Intel to your team. Then, zig-zag style of driving, good spotting positions on maps and when to retreat. Good luck

Yeah, I joined the tankers academy and I am getting a lot of hints and tricks. I was just amazed how slow XP goes. But indeed, I am working to be the stealth scout not the suicide scout. Thanks for the tips!

I changed playstyle :Smile_sceptic:  t-50 with 57mm is better than with 37mm... SlicerDicer you were right :Smile_Default:  But still I am sure that when you are in 3-5 tier battle with your t-50 (it sometimes happens) 37mm is better. But it's only like 15-20% of games so still 57mm rule :Smile_Default:

hi :)
well, i wouldn't say that the XP is low, i mean it depends on what you are doing during the battle, just like pampala said. it's important to keep enemies spotted and to survive as long as possible you want to be a good scout ;) also, distracting the enemy from firing at your allies and try to go for you (and fail^^) usually results in the enemy tanks presenting their sides and rear to your team's main forces... besides that, your speed allows you to flank enemies easily as soon as you find a gap in their defence or go for the arty if you think that the enemy is way too busy to fight you :)

personally, i had my best run on fischer's bay, if you watch it you see that i kinda did all the stuff i just talked about (poor Panther and KV-1S :'() and got just over 1k XP without premium :D

PS: i didn't buy any camo, this is just a skin i reproduced with Gimp ;) so if you want fast skins which look like the camo, i could tell you^^

Well, I got my T-50 a few days ago and it's my first time I play light tanks on a daily basis. I like it's speed and manoeuvrability, but I hate it being in a tire 8 or 9 fight. Yesterday, for example, I played on Ensk and I was the only one left in my team with 2 HP against an IS-3 and a T-29, both with under 4% health. I shot at least 30 shells (Ap and HE). All I managed to do was -1% on the IS-3. I shot the side, the back, everywhere. I got a "Penetration" from my crew, but no damage on the other tank.
I did circle the IS-3 at least 40 times. I almost threw up.

I actually prefer T8-9 battles over the T5-6 ones. Once in a high tier match, you can concentrate on more relaxing runs, while getting more xp from bigger arty and better snipers. In mid tiers, support is weak and opposition just as hard as high tiers. So you have to play the role of a very weak undergunned combattant. Which is harder...

Low tiers you njust troll everything.

Could anyone advise me on what kind of modules I should equip.

I got the vents already and equipped the binocs and camo net. Eventually camo net will go.

I was considering equiping torsion bars for track durability or cyclone filters to make my engine more durable.

I have a crap win rate in this baby. It does not matter if I die fast after killing an arty or live long scouting/camping. How can I best help the team?
