Really nice little tank indeed. All you need from an autoloader is right here: short burst and quick reload. And it comes with a short delay between shots as a bonus. Many will have problems with its gun handling, but who cares - the autoloader is awesome! Just to make the comparison: I play the Cromwell with BiA, vents, Smooth Ride and Snap-shot, while my T 25 crew only has vents, and on the Skoda the gun handling is better in this state. But this is just to say how bad the gun handling of the Cromwell is. Still, get a good aim or get close enough, poke for 2.66 second and release 330 damage into an enemy. Do that a few times, and you have done your role.

I would have liked either some more accuracy or some hull traverse, but even in this state, having some skill really makes the tank shine. And it is a pity, that there don't seem to be many good enough owners playing, I can hardly see other Skoda T 25 tanks do much. For now the tank is not too known by others, so it does not get a lot of attention when spotted, or at least they don't do that to me.

So far I have a 2nd MoE and I am going to make this tank my first tier 6 with 1000 personal damage (NOT counting the assisted). I will be keeping it for some time. All in all, the Skoda T 25 is a keeper and it is in a special place among the tier 6 tanks.

We saw, but nobody cares. This and the Cromwell are probably the most OP tier 6 tanks. If we don't count KV-2 and O-I.

At times this tank feels kinda OP. It deals damage like crazy.

  1. Peak
  2. Shoot
  3. Hide
  4. Reload
  5. Repeat
  6. ???
  7. Profit

However, I am not going to hit the 1000 average damage mark...

Also, the tank can win a duel against a KV-2 if the KV-2 misses. Within 20 seconds the Skoda T 25 is able to shoot 3 clips for 3 x 330 damage.

I am a bit afraid to try the tank in stronghold battles, though. DPM is not too high, the T 25 is a peek-a-boom tank. Also the slow hull and turret traverse make duels hard. If it gets concentrated on, it won't live to shoot a second or third clip, making it useless. The tank must always stay with company.

Highest damage potential of all tier 6 medium tanks. I wish I had an extra crew so I could play this gem. Very fast, very good gun handling, very good gun depression and fast clip reload - only weakness is the tank turns very slowly.

Run Vents + Optics + GLD, because no other useful equipment is available. Running food greatly improves the tank.

It's a fast flanker / sniper - you can't circle enemies but you are an excellent support vehicle. Clip reload is so fast that I just tended to reload after any shots fired, even one, because it doesn't take more than ~6 seconds to do. When you can, of course do unload the whole clip.

I've tried a change on this and quite like it:

Vents, Wet Ammo Rack and Optics.

I get far fewer ammo rack critical damage which helps me keep the little gun firing - what this tank is all about.

and I have small repair and med kit with 100 octane fuel - it speeds up the drive and turret turn rate.  But I haven't tried a comparison with food yet.

Hehehe!

I completed the Czech mission for the T-44-100 only with the Skoda T 25 for about 28 days (counting only the days I played). This tank does damage and frags like nothing. However, for future mission marathons, I discourage anyone from trying to do that with more than 2 nations, it is just too tiering - 5000 damage with 5 kills per day with a tier 6 is not something that requires just a few battles. I was making 900-1000 damage with 5-6 frags per battle, so that was 5-6 battles per day. It was not too hard, because the tank pretty much played itself during that time.

Regardless, achievement unlocked: Tier 6 Marathon - completed a nation's marathon mission with a single tier 6.

Can I have my medal now?

One other downside that hasn't been mentioned is the bad camo rating. Don't try to do passive scouting in an exposed location, it just ends badly. Active scouting by poking ridges is fine because of the great mobility.

good heavens just got this tank since i thought i'd start the grind for the tvp, i did originally buy the t40 which i do like to be honest, but i thought id kick start the grind at tier 6 and jesus, t25 is simply incredible this has to be one of the best tier 6 tanks I've ever played, even in tier 8 games when you flank someone with 3 quick shots and repeat its extremely effective. great tank.

I hate it. Only good thing about it is speed.

Why ? because I get tier VIII games all the time and gold ammo cost a lot. And any hit I take kills my ammo rack or damage something.... Also, camo for this tank is insanely bad.

My opinion might change if I had BIA for my crew. But I just finished training repairs for all and swapped commander for sixth sense and took the snapshot, smooth ride, situational awareness for rest.

Managed to ace it with 2220 dmg 1632 support dmg from spotting giving me 1285 base exp.

I want to love mine, but I'm crap in it.

I guess the problem as stated before is that you should play this tank in a trusted platoon, whereby you get protection and cover from buddies.

Also find that my TOG 2 seems to have a smaller turning circle that my T25!

45 battles in and I have to say it's by FAR the unluckiest tank I have ever played in WoT.

For example, just now I was in battle, the enemy had three arties and all three had direct hits on me even as I was moving, abeit, backwards, but I was wiggling like crazy.... I swear whan I play arty I hit once every 5 or 6 shots..

The first eight battles I had, lost the first 7.

It seems the tracks and engine fall to pieces as soon as i get spotted, ohh yes and now I have the autoloader i get ammo racked most of the time, jeez I wonder if I'll ever get the hang of this one.......

I find that the key to arty accuracy is to always aim fully (or almost) and 100% crew.

In a new machine, pay gold if you have to, to get at least the gunner to 100%.

My arty crews are 100% and I do fully aim, yet still miss by miles half the time, unlike the three lucky so and so's in that particular game.

To be honest, i think the vast majority of battles in this game are more about luck/rng than player skill, but i could be wrong and just manage to always be in front of pro players...

Well, after 126 bettles, it doesn't seem quite so bad now, but I find I am up against tier 8 far too often.

With 132mm of pen It's really tough to damage those tier 8's unless you can get round the back, but that's easier said than done, as if you get hit the tracks are likely to fall off and you are dead very soon after.

I also find the three shot gun somewhat unpredictable, with a tendancy for shots go to the edge of the reticle an awful lot.

Once I have the next tank researched I'm selling the T-25 as, for me, the British Cromwell is a far better tier 6 medium.
