Since there is so much complain about MM being rigged and what not using evidence and data with such huge samplsizes as 25!!!!  I have decided to create a new thread called MM is fine in which we can praise the MM and all the good decisions it makes.

Don't mind him WG I have no shame and can be bought for 5%

I do think mm is aptly named, I find myself saying mmm when looking at the team makeups on the battle loading screen, quickly followed by something else :)

I find MM to be fine as it is, it has its occasional blips but nothing is perfect. If i fail, it was my fault and try to improve not blame the MM like most noobs.

It is certaintly rigged. There is always this one unicum guy on my team increasing my win chance all the time, it is unfair for the enemy. :(

Spoiler

Nah, but seriously, I don't have such huge issues with the MM. I am not saying it is perfect, but usually it actually works as intended.

Apart from when one team has more top tier tanks than other I'd say it's fine as well.

I think MM is ok in the way that each battle is different somewhat. You never know what tanks your going to be with/against and I think it keeps things from getting boring in that sense.

Today I had a game in which the tanks were matched evenly tier for tier - two 7s, one 6, eleven 5s and one 4 a side. Sure, their top tiers were both heavies an ours a med and a TD and I despaired but the MM must have known that their KV-3 would base camp and the O-Ni go blundering along a beach while our E25 sat in a bush and spotted everyone. It is almost as if individual skill counts for a lot and that making the correct decisions more often leads to winning games more often.

Or it might have been rigged to ensure a defeat for the terrible O-Ni driver and a win for our average but sensible E25 driver. Or for me.

There's also sometimes the set-up in tank classes, which favors one team over the other on certain maps, but apart from those two situations, I don't see any problems. A lot of the mm gripes have more to do with xvm than anything else, which, to be honest, is easily remedied by not using it.

I have said it before and I will repeat myself.

MM is "rigged" for sure.

4 years ago games like 60% and 70% were a minor exception to the rule. Games were always from 45% to 58%. Lemming trains were the minority of the games and only on 4-5 maps. Teammates were bashing campers and lemming train idiots.

Now games like 75% is the rule and 50% is the exception. Lemming trains are every other game, if not one game after the other. And teammates never tell anything to other players because they are campers/train idiots themselves....

Now how come and MM is so obviously changed I dont know. I suspect that bigger % difference means faster wins/loses, which means more matches, which means more chances to make dollars.

And some blame themselves for losing (or take it on themselves to "carry the game"), but as we all know... if a team is garbage theres only so much you can do.... I wouldnt mind random battles 4 vs 4 for example. 3 tomatoes and me per say. I can carry a game like that.

But 14 salad boys and me and me carrying a game against 15 enemies???!!! hahahahaha

(and always some smart guy -the hope of our continent- will say: L2P dude!!! Carry the game and dont complain!!! hahahahahahaha yeah sure!

every 45% bot has an opinion and I dont oc)

Sorry, but in this thread we appreciate the MM, I think you are looking for 'issue with MM'-thread. It is usually on top of the page.

And yes, I think MM is working perfectly, giving me games where I win about as much as my WR is.

yeah, it is actually quite sick that WG managed to create a MM in which skill actually mattered, and where MM let skillful players win 60%+ while the less talented are hovering d 40-46%. ..

Wowowow, slow down, slippery slope right here! Next thing you come up with is saying that you might improve and therefore win more if you challenge yourself instead of staying inlow to mid tiers where you meet alot of fairly new players! Just think about what you are implying here! We can not let common sense get in the way of our conspiracy theories!

If you check my stats you'll know that I'd never suggest that.

And it might be possible to change things here aswell. Though I think Tigerstreak is a lost cause.

It always works as tended, that it is not fully functional anymore is a different point.

I think it is functional. Though it could need a little tweaking (same number of top tiers) as an improvement.

But that is just about inserting a new function into current MM.

Yeah when i was playing, i had no real problem with it, i played with +/- 4 in 2011, that was a little harsh so +/-2 is no real problem

like OP said sometimes top tier imbalance, but it was never really bad imo

the maps were the reason i left, however >
