I'm seriously in awe now. This particular player has over 20 000 battles played and he created a clan 5 years ago. Yet he still doesn't know how spotting works. And no, not a "15 meters rule" or something like that. He suicided in his Pz. I C, died after 40 seconds and was SURE that enemy tanks spotted by him are visible to everybody until the match ends! Did you ever see that magnitude of stupidity in this game? How can you play 20 THOUSAND battles and still don't realise that tanks disappear after few seconds?!

I think that would be "naming". But I can upload it to WOT-replays and send you a pm with a link.

EDIT: link sent.

I think that you overreacted. there are dumb people in this world and you can't just magically "undumb" them by insulting them for their stupidity. as you saw he was really, really sure that he is right - and you didn't change his knowledge about spotting system at all.

unfortunately darwins law is not working nowadays and we can't just sit here and wait till stupid people will just die some day. if you want to change ones mind, you can start talking to them - but without suggesting that he is stupid from very beginning. try to be polite and with simple words, simple sentences tell him that tanks are spotted only for few seconds. if he is resistent to knowledge, then throw him a link to a spotting system guide or something. if that still doesn't work - that person is probably too stupid to understand concepts more complex than "shoot red ones".

But the thing is- if after 5 years and 20 000 battles he STILL doesn't know it- then there's no hope for him. No point explaining. All you can do is have some fun at his expense. It's like not realizing that you need to reload after a shot.
