Crap tank in the wrong hands, it is a real pain if played well.    Makes the AMX 13 57 look like crap.

Im loving it now i understand how to play them. i do carry a lot of gold though 18/18 load out. averaging upwards of 1300 damage each game and nearly at 90% after 70 games played. It just needs to be played very thoughtfully. you need to know the wherabouts of other tanks and save your HP for the end battle as your clip can really rack up the damage

Running vents, optics and can't decide between vstab/bino. BiA, cammo, better driving and faster aiming perks. First minutes of battle usually passive spotting, then flanking. What do you guys prefer - vstab or bino?

These are active scouts , on tics is enough vr,  you need to do damage late game so slap on the vstab

I prefer vstab, play it as an aggressive assassin rather than a passive scout. Requires a lot of patience though. Great tank overall, my favourite along with 13 90.

looking to make the hop up from T6 and getting this tank.

So I'm guessing full gold loadout is necessary, how about crews and crew skill - will one complete set of skills be ok on this thing (I/e/ sixth sense and the rest full camo?)

Good question on the crew; I have the same "issue" so looking forward to the answer.

I carry 12 apcr, rest is AP. I also use food, instead of a fire extinguisher.

For the first skill I went with 6th sense, camo, camo. Second skill is BIA, 3rd skill is viewrange related. 3 marked it before I finished training BIA.

Equipment I use are vents, optics, camonet.

Just a quick question, why no Binos if you are running a Cammo net?

Also, can you tell me a little about your play style with that setup?

thanks.

Don't use binos cause I have max viewrange anyways.

My playstyle is most of the times agressive and active. But if I need to I will spot passively, for example prokorovka or malinovka.

I try to kill isolated targets or flank around, if possible.

Can't really describe it since it is map dependent. I will try to play a few games tonight and send you some replays, if you want.

Thanks mate,

View range,  I am using Binocs atm as I only have a commander with 6th and 70% cammo. No vision or BIA  skills yet.

I may try a few games with optics and a net.

Yes the Replays will be great.

Cheers

H

Just got epic today. Himelsdorf, our team took hill, enemy took railway. Noticed our base 2 capturers 40 sec left, returning from almoust enemy base, sudenly 3 capturers and time is running out! Driving through the midle of map trying to see any enemy in our base-none has light up-im too far to return to base in time! Reached our base-enemy amx 65t behind house, no vision on tank itself. Time 0 capture 100%. Going in full speed in our base, pass near the amx 65t, saw OHO, Emil 1, amx1375, t29, amx m4 45. I dont know how many time past by, till i made first shot to OHO, then t29 and emil. Game over, lets shoot as many as game lets me to shoot-you know how it is after taking base you can still shoot and sometimes you can shot down last enemy but still loose game. But then this is it- base capture drops to 40. Im running out of base, got 3 hits. I thought i died. But sudenlly i realized im alive, just tracked, still on 200hp, repair, reached corner, im safe, 12sec load gold again and going for another lap2, This time not so happy, amx 65t straight in front, 1 shot me. Base reached 98 before my team decaped it 1 time more. We won. No replay, found it when i turned off the game and wanted to see replay for myself. 1200dmg 62 defend points.

Three marked this today. Feels like all the French LTs feel the same, just the enemies change. At the same time it means that I really like playing them all.

I used Vents, Vstab and Optics. If I would use binos, which is a real option, I would drop vents, not the Vstad. Had a 2.5 skill crew with BiA, Sit awe on commander and camo on the rest. Currently working on the last camo and the gun handling skills. I know people tend to disagree, but I always use the sit awe before camo as it helps you even when you are spotted. No plans to change that approach, but I can see why you would go full camo first.

What comes to ammo load out, I had roughly 2/3 regular and 1/3 APCR. You usually go and flank people so the gold ammo isn't that important.
