The tank is ok for tier 6.

For your Info Rudy at tier 8 sucks the same as this tank.

But in tier 6-7 plays really nice.

I like the fact that some people comment but don't actually own the tank...funny.

First kids should get a job, and after they can decide if they buy or not...until then let them share their opinion...no one cares.

It is too expensive and not worth the money.

I already have 4 Soviet Premium medium tanks and would like to collect the fifth, but it costs too much. I bought Rudy for the same price, but that tank is better and came with a crew so I don't see a point in getting worse tank without the good crew for the same money. If the price was 10 to 15 Euros I'd buy it but I still wouldn't play it often.

And the tank seems like it has nothing going for it. It is supposed to have armor but it doesn't have it. It has bad mobility and terrible gun and bad view range.

So if anyone wants to buy this - I'd say don't buy it, get the T 54 proto instead - it costs more but that thing at least has the armor that bounces shots unlike the T34-85M, and it makes money. Or, if you're just looking for armored medium with mediocre mobility and fast firing gun with pretty bad penetration, just get the standard American medium tank Sherman Jumbo.

34-85M is okay - lacks the mobility of the Rudy and regular 34-85, but surprisingly bouncy armour (with a bit of angling).

I actually prefer it to Rudy, as the slower pace of the tank stops me charging into things like a noob (which is what I do with the Rudy)

Overall, it's one of the better VI premiums - certainly way better than things like Schmalturm, TOG, and so on. Better than Fury, because it can actually pen things without needing prem. Obviously not as good as Bromwell or Rudy.

I always got the feeling that with the T34-85M and the GrofsTraktor, they were designed to get premium matchmaking, then both tanks would have been fine, then WG changed their policey and decided not to make any more Premium MM tanks, but decided to lazily sell these tanks unchanged anyway, hence they are both crap when bottom tier...

They both need buffing/Premium MM to make them any good.

Basically, don't buy this unless you are a collector and even then, only if you REALLY want this thing.

The big Traktor is quite OP when top tier, less in T4,and a support tank in tier 5.

What you get:

-12 depression / +60 Elevation (back when mittengard was for tier 3,i abused this, and easily annihilated anything.

A derp gun,not like its accurate, but when the HE hits for full alpha, you crack a smile. Occasionally,i have rolled for 200 alpha.

The tank is pretty mobile for its size.

Gets HEAT as premium, opposite to CR of Pz.S35 (APCR totally and utterly SUCKS.)

Drawbacks:

You get no armor, but, was there alot of real "armor" in this game? I thought not.

EDIT: Oh yes,did i mention you get 6 beer drinkers to train?:)

Yeahmeheoooaowa.

Maybe I would bring out the $$ if this wasn't bundled. It's a pretty bad premium tank, that is not really worth more than a jap tiger. It just screams: I'm bad.

I'll wait for a better offer.

Its probably OK ish, the gun is a little low on pen and damage but not awful.

Slightly slower than the T34-85 and the Rudy.

Not on my list and I have the Rudy so not for me.

OK ish?

Collector's gem meh of the week and even that would give it too much credit. That thing got released over a year ago during the Christmas specials if I remember correctly, in any case well before the Rudy. Looking at my stats:

T-34-85M - 771,55 average damage - 47 battles at 46,81% WR

T-34-85 Rudy - 1117,38 average damage - 160 battles at 57,50% WR

If you do not have the Rudy, don't come even close to the T-34-85M. The Rudy comes with a dog and a 0 skill BIA crew and on a mobile platform. Today's "gem" is not even fun to play, whatever crew I put in it.

at least give us a reason , apart from collectors tank, to buy this . i cant think of any whatsoever, you realy need to think about what would make customers happy and then you will see more sales , but this one is a total fail, the stats are not even true :(

The gun is like the top one of Type 58, which is a bad gun, not enough penetration.

Better than credits and gold I guess. If only I did not hate the T-34

If any1 wants a really good T-34-85 premium tank, buy the Rudy instead. It is decent, not like this one... Why can't this gun get the Rudi's penetration?????

Btw, if anyone is really desperate for buying, be prepared, this tank gets ammoracked often. I mean, really-really often!

Because Rudy does not have prem MM

but the T-34-85M has an extra crew member over the Rudy, so potentially making it a better crew trainer for all the other Soviet medium tanks.

Nah bigger crew is actually a drawback as the high tier russian meds have crew of four and this thing will just waste accelerated XP to radioman. There is really no point getting this over Rudy.

I don't get all the fuss about this tank.

It's basically a T-34-85 that turns in some stats in trade for some pretty trollish armor. Basically feels a bit like a T-44 on tier 6. (Without the same mobility ofcourse)
