Gj

It's good you have the power to lower the occurrence probability, even the actual changes to those maps are handled from the developer side :)...

Are you shitting me, Stalingrad is actually a really good design from a map point of view, it's WoT players who cannot handle it.

But worst of all why the hell is Fishermans Bay not on there it causes crashes for a considerable amount of players.

Kharkov suffers from mini stutters for several players so good it is downed.

Map availability for lower-tier tanks (Battle Tiers 4+) will also be changed. Players will experience a greater map variety.

Any details on that?

Stalingrad is two corridors and a deadzone in the middle. Even the supposed medium area is an amalgamation of three mini-corridors (high road, embankment and beach separated by the train tracks). There is no variety. Sure, you can fiddle about in the side roads and buildings, but at some point you are going to run it a fat tank blocking your path.

Kharkov is actually better in this regard as it has a flank that mediums and scouts have a chance of exploiting.

Another thing i would like to mention is that, why not just rework maps entirely and change them up like you have done with Swamp and the upcoming change to Sacred Valley?..... I don't understand why Maps have to be removed completely and not just changed, whats with that?

Swamp is now worse than it was before they changed it

So, we are going to fight over and over again on campers paradise - Malinovka, Fiery salient, Prokhorovka...

People hate the city maps because they are used to stay and snipe whatever the spotter spotts.

In city maps you must do the job for yourself, roam around, find ways to get around enemy. In city you actually have a chance against High tiers. I want to see how you kill a hull down t34in your medium  without being slapped to death from far away.

Changing maps takes up to months, during which they are removed, if bad too much.
Second reason is that there are currently too many maps anyway. That's pointless if you don't see all of them, it'd be better to have lower map count (like 20 or so instead of the current 30+) and rotate them all.
Third reason is that even if you change and not remove, there will be players who will hate the changes (some saying it was better before and to roll back, some saying nothing improved and to remove it anyway), so it's tough to decide on short notice - it will take time again.

But still how comes those maps i mentioned got changed and not removed, if it takes that much time?

Also another thing is no matter what decisions are made their will always be people not happy with something and i just think they should keep maps, reworked them a little, no major changes maybe but just a little something moved or what ever, i don't know, just would prefer that but ah well, just thinking along the line of more maps the merrier and all different/changed on without removals.

I just like to question everything is all and possible ifs and buts :)

Actually I hope Makarov really comes back that guy at least understand how to manage map designing.

It's simple:

- Start with total symmetric design based on preset requirements (e.a. HT  focus, TD, SPG focus)

- Rearrange objects that do not affect functional map use to create asymmetry

- Change physical appearance of objects on map to enhance asymmetric aspects

- Test map

- Release map

- Monitor statistics

- Adapt maps with minor changes

- Release

Do this often enough and you'll get map designers who know what they are doing and can give feedback on the requirements set for a map. Making balanced maps is a freaking horror and requires VERY experienced staff to do correctly.

I can't find nothing wrong in all this maps! War isn't always simmetric! And the challenging (and fun) part of the game is to find the strategy to win! Lowering the probability of all this map will only make this game more monotone.

When I started to play this game, one year ago, there were a great ammount of fun map. But most of them had been removed and replaced with a new version of already existing maps as Himmelsdorf, Ruinberg or Prokhorovka. I loved map as Hidden Village, Northwest, Pearl River and Fjords. They had palces to hide from arty and TDs for heavy, wide space for meds and lights. I think that all the work made during the last year on the maps has only made the whole game worst! Give us back all the old map!

Stalingrad is one of the best maps.

And give us old maps back!

City maps are the only ones I actually enjoy. The worst map out there currently is the Swamp, whenever I get Swamp I honestly don't care whether I'm going to win or not.

Outrageous picks. With so many crap maps out there, community actually picks 2 good ones out of 3.

I wonder how many 43% bobs that don't even know the maps voted.

There are so many worse maps than these three ones (Mountain Pass, Malinovka...).

Windstorm is a paradise for flankers and one of the most dynamic map available in this game. It is non sense to touch this map.
