FIRST,

this looks way better than this calculator:  http://www.wotdb.info/
its 100% just like in-game. nothing special.

edit: how to run this program. for me it gives an error when trying to run it with JAVA.

Thank you very much for your interest!  :)

You'll need Java Runtime Environment 7
It's not the default download from java.com, use the link above...

If it's to troublesome, I could make a Java 6 build?
Also, if you could post the content of wotxp.log (if any is created), I can debug it...

Thank you a million for your feedback :)

EDIT: Now works with Java 6, as well...

now it works. i have java 6.1 installed and it works.

i must say ur program is very accurate. just calculated how much EXP and avarage battles do i need to complete my secondary skill on E-75. 468 to 565 battles.
and its actually true. the lvl-ing up is very slow after each skill is completed.

Great!

Thank you for helping me test the program, I really appreciate it!  :)
Did you try both the command line and the GUI?

I've written down the XP I got for each battle on both my SU-100 and SU-152.
It match perfectly with what the program outputs...

The XP in the in-game stats are inaccurate because double XP for the first victory of the day is not counted...

If you have any suggestions to make the program better, please let me know :)

the gui verison works but the cmd does not.
well about 1 month ago. i was customizating my PC with many gadgets, themes, and so on.
and somehow my cmd tool got damaged. well it does not work at all when i type cmd in start and click enter.
i'm too lazy to fix it.

i have to find my windows 7 installation disk. havent seen it for ages xD

You could try making a *.bat file with the following content:
java -jar wotxp.jar -cmd
pause
Anyway, thank you a million for helping me test WotXP! :)

I took a quick look at gui version. It works just fine, great job. What I didn't relay understand is purpose of percent by percent listing. I don't think that is particularly to see that, try to make a graph instead, that would be cool. What ever do you do it still is nice app.

i have tried that. but in command promt its saying this when i ran the bat file:

"java" is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

press any key to continue...

@BoskoSLO
That is pretty hard to fix:
You need to add the java bin directory to the environment variable: PATH

I'll not ask you to that ;)

Thank you for taking the time to try it! :)
You can't be lucky every time...

Nice job done here! Tested the GUI version which works quite nice. One question: What is the difference between "Battles" and "Battles (Rapid)"?

Second calculation should be valid when rapid training is on

I agree...
Just see it as a crash warning label - you'll learn to ignore it sooner or later...
WotXP is pretty stable...

I was just joking ...

Now it looks complete to me. Good work. I hope moderators send suggestion to put it in fan zone on game site.

(Maybe now even someone decides that 600 battles for last 25% of third skill is just too much :) )

Good :)

I'll leave beta 3 up for a couple of days and then release 1.0.0 stable.

I got secondary 2 to 50% on my SU-85 and it was already going way to slow...
It's still my favorite vehicle, though (of the few I've played).
Anyway, I decided to move on... now I play the ISU-152 (still not finished upgrading it).
