Absolutely horrible. I thought this year/summer couldn't get any worse after the deaths of Boogeyman, Rypien and Belak. A sad day for all hockey fans all over the world.

As an Ice Hockey Referee for longer than I care to remember I would pass my condolences to families of all who perished.
There was some awesome talent on that team as you can see from the tribute. They where a credit to the sport and their team.

I am Latvian, and Karlis Skrastins also was a Latvian and a good hockey player. one of the best Latvian hockey players who played in the NHL! RIP IronMan!

Of course also a big loss is the death of the whole team! KHL lost one of the strongest team! Compassion for all families!

We in Sweden is specialy going to miss our goalkeeper Stefan Liv he was also goalkeepr for the Swedish National team.
But we must not forget about all the other GREAT player in the team.

I'm not a big fan of Hockey. But it's soooo wrong when something like this happens, a lot of great athletes lost their life. Life is too cruel. R.I.P
