Yeah this brought WoT really closer to WT:GF, i can't like it, its so fking stupid, i bet not a single of the idiots in the developer team ever thought about fast tanks and the bumpy terrain changes some time ago, that both makes tanks with 50+kmh speed very dangerous to play, i think you could even flip a tank with 40kmh speed, just needs one of the famous little rocks hidden behind bushes. So where is the use of high speed that you can't use? You trashed the game WG, gj, how about letting this game be arcade and making a new WoT with more realism, because nobody needs such sht and we could have said it earlier if you just have asked.

And the sounds are just annoying as well, if multiple tanks shot at once, this overlapping of sounds is horrible, maybe its realistic but it couldn't be more annoying. This update didn't made the game better, just different, but for me it got worse.

I realised Gran Tourismo (3 I think it was) was  a proper racing simulator not just when I had to remember to press the brake to avoid crashing, but when I had to use the brake how much in what place depending on what kind of car I was driving. I did eventually get my international A license.

World of Tanks is not a tank simulator.

just wanted to put that out there

I love the new physics. They're a lot of fun to me. I'm playing fast low-tier tanks like the A-20, Covenanter or ELC AMX, and the gameplay is much smoother imo. You won't get stuck on little rocks and other obstacles which in some situations gave me the opportunity to flee and not get shot by the enemy crowd. Also I like the new sounds, they're just different to the old ones, I don't know why anyone could have a problem with them, as they give much more atmosphere to the game.

I like the new physics.

Driving over obstacles is a lot more fun now and if you watched actual videos of tank combat you'd see that drifting at high speeds isn't unlikely especially if you're driving downhill for instance.

And anyone who is complaining about the sound system is just whining for the sake of it and might want to just drop the keyboard for a second.

On the first day I saw four tanks on their sides within the first four games, all scouts that looked like they'd gone airborne. I think it will make the game better if Luchs drivers need to look where they are going.

As for the sounds I don't care if I get called a whiner by apologists for the poor job WG have made. The tanks sound better (in isolation), the guns sound better (in isolation), and the ambient sounds are better (in isolation), but put them all together and they aren't doing what WG said they would do, and that is make you aware of the types of shells hitting you, and from which direction. The whole system falls apart if there are other tanks near you adding their own equally audible sounds to the mashup. So, apologists, take the cotton wool out your ears and listen to the sounds and what they are supposed to be telling you, then call people whiners if you alone have the ears of a bat.

I don't get what it has to do with physics, looks like a moronic spawn glitch to me with the countdown clock and all

Well said.

I've played a few games today and have yet to see anyone flip over, regardless of what they're driving. All the new physics means is you can't drive like you're playing Mario Kart any more. Just pay a little care and attention to where you're going and everything will be fine.

Can't say I'm blown away by the new sounds, but they're not terribad either IMO.
