I have Hellcat unlocked, but I heard it's quite bad now. Also the one after it T25/2. I really want to grind both lines of American TDs but have no idea how to do it. Any advice on these two TDs? Any kind of advice is welcomed o7

Hellcat is still one of the best tier 6 TDs, or tier 6 vehicles in general. Hulldown and camp, also it has absurdly good premium shells.

T25/2 is kind of a failed medium tank with a big gun, play it like a support medium and it will be average and bland.

Still? Hmm. What's the way it's meant to be played?

Yeah, on Noobmeter it's currently still ranked as the top scoring tier 6 TD, followed by SU-100Y and SU-100, with Jackson coming in fourth.

The playstyle is basically, use your speed to get to a good position early, set up camp and kill everything. The gold ammo goes through tier 8 tanks like butter if the situation requires, so carry some. The good gun depression lets you hide most of your tank and poke ridges and the fully traversable turret lets you use camonet and binoculars more effectively than TDs that need to turn their hull to cover a wide area.

And when everything goes to hell, use that same speed to retreat.

Yes indeed, but it also says:

Vehicle Statistics from Feb 18, 2014 to Mar 20, 2014

So am I missing something or?

As for the tactics, it sounds pretty good. Thank you for the advice. Does it have good camo rating? I was also wondering about skills, what would you recommend? And finally, what about T25/2? What is it like?

...oh, wow. I hadn't even noticed that. Noobmeter should update it's stats, then XD

Well, I checked vBAddict instead and they currently list it as 5th best performer out of 11 tier 6 TDs, but not by a very large margin. Have a look: http://www.vbaddict....t_ratio&server=

The Hellcat has a camo rating of 20% when stationary, which is not the best but still very good.

The T25/2, as I said earlier, is pretty much a hybrid MT/TD. It's not bad, it just... disappoints. The gun is barely better than the Hellcat, the top speed is lower... it's very meh.

I'll leave my full thoughts about each tank below in the videos. Crew skills, it depends. For each machine, camo is your friend (along with 6th sense ofc). Having said that, if this crew is also going to move up to the tier 8+ machines, you probably want to prioritise repairs over camo.

American Td line is awesome, I grinded it on Wot Blitz cuz I dont have a Pc now.

ok, there are 3 tanks you gonna keep, Hellcat, T30 and E4, about Hellcat said enough, T30 is fun, high pen, great depression and turreted Td.

this line has weak armor average even E4 has weak front corners of the turret easy to pen so dont trust your armor, cuppolas are easy weakspots for every T8,9 and 10 tanks even when You hull down with T30 and even more E4 every opoonent gonna shot there.

your biggest opponents are T62 and Obj140 since they have strong turret mantlet and yiu need to use gold to pen them when hill fighting (remember E4 has no depression at all, I consider it its weakest point)

On the other side you will deal 2500dmg per battle easy with T30 and E4 and use HE for WT and open turret tanks (1000) dmg if well shot. I carry at least 5 Apcr 8 He and rest Ap. You are able to pen even E100 front turret at 90• and even JpzE100 one if close enough (distance wil repeal most of your shots even gold, another disvantage), accuracy is bad use this tanks mid range.

Turrets.

Turrets are good.

No turret is bad.
