Hi all,

personally, I do like new sounds (the most of them at least) and I do not like the new physics. The problem with new physics is that tanks behave like the jo-jo ball. If you want to go against the wall and try to make a better angle for shooting in a medium / heavy tank it will start jumping like a ball. That was perfectly normal up to certain angles in previous mechanics, but impossible in the current. With so many tank with the small gun depressions, many tanks are impossible to use in many positions in maps that was possible before.

Second problems is related to light tanks that 1) may reach a hill like they are chamoises (Seriously??!!!), or 2) they flip far to often, so the gameplay is very unpleasant. For instance, playing the 54light yesterday in Skirmishes, I flipped several times (in one game twice) and I did not do anything special or fancy. Many players are afraid to play bold with light tanks, because they are unreliable, they flip far too often and damaged severely even on smallest steeps.

often i blocked in half flip and be unaable to doing nothing until the enemy target me and die...too sad games

There's a buggy spot in Sand River around G7. When sheltering under the north ridge there's an invisible rock or something that can cause your tank to get stuck.

 

Tanks still seem a bit slidey on steep hills, but that could be down to the lack of audible and visual feedback when reaching the limit of grip rather than anything to do with the physics.

I think that both the new sounds and physics are excellent and more realistic! Now I can do some magnificent magic trick with HT that were impossible with the old physics. Also driving LT is more funny! I saw only a couple of LT flipped, but they were always French lights. I think the problem it's the tank itself! It's too tall and slim, so it's center of gravity fall out of tracks area more easily! Using ELC AMX or Leopard I never get flipped. So if you want to drive fast, remember to use a stable tank or to slow down while turning.

This time I can really say "Good job WG"!

new physics and sound are nice. but some points are not really realistic or helpful:

 

-flip over new rocks/hill ground is far to easy, you can even easily flip a tank like e3 which should be allmost to heavy to be flipped near rocky place. same goes for other tanks, when your close to a rock or hill and keep driving to it it just behaves like a jojo ball.

 

-on the sound i really miss to determine when a shell pen's my tank, it's just to hard to hear it as before

THANKS didn't want it we NEVER ask for it so why??


 So now any small light tank or small fast TD or fast Medium its like ICE SKATING ~ fall over hit any rock then onto side or roof, so WHY?

YES am getting FED UP with this dumbed down game -  so just please FIX what we want fixing - wake up Wargame please

they fked up game with this last update ,they want this game to look like fkn need for speed :angry:

I just had not one, but a whole series of random matches with absurdly unfair matchmaking. Can I trade your great new physics system for a reasonable matchmaking system? The kind where the enemy does not have three to four times as many heavies in a city map?

 

And by the way - please correct me if I am wrong - as far as I know the new rules do not apply universally to all classes of tanks, which means that light tanks, medium tanks and heavies can do clutch braking, while SPG's and TD's can't - right? Now that is something - WoT is now one of the few if not the only game ever where different sets of physics rules apply to different elements of the game. That is simply absurd... Do these guys really consider this to be good game design? I find it hard to believe that there was no better solution to the problem.

While I do enjoy the new sounds, the physics are not ok at all. Besides the obvious light tank flipping for little reason, the characteristics of several vehicles seem to be changed with no warning -my obj140 seems to go a lot slower, while certain artillery pieces like m12 feel at least twice as fast! Medium vehicles seem to be floating instead of actually gripping the terrain. Another problem is ramming -I tried to ram a bulldog with e50m, I figured massive damage, especially when I rammed his side, downhill, at around 40km/h, right? Instead the bulldog flipped twice down the hill, sideways, received only 300 dmg and then bounced back on it's tracks. Then it just left without even the tracks being damaged. I, on the other hand, got both my tracks blown off. This needs fixing!

Regarding the sounds, you can't tell when a 110mm hits you or a 130mm. It's the same sound, even for the tank firing at you. I've died several times because I figured a tier 8 bounced me (no big deal) and in fact I was being clipped by a WtAufE100!

just now in a battle we had 2 top tier Heavy enemy had 5?

also

My team nearly all red noob player ~ Enemy team mostly good to very good player

 

can you guess what happen? can you! LET ME tell you another 4 minute slaughter that's what we lost 3 - 12

I see this again and again ALL dam day, why?


 

So screw the New Motion Physics where TANKS ON ICE and FLIP onto sides or Roofs - how this childish rubbish help?

I like this new patch. I gained a lot of FPS. Around 50% increase.

And i like the physics.

MT25 flips over at the first sign of a rock.  Don't reverse either or you are on your roof.  It is quite hilarious when a bigger tank smacks smaller ones though, I managed to make a t37 fly on its side just by nudging it slightly in my IS3.

This new Physics is really useless. I see tanks falling in water. I am not taking about players who are bad. Seen unicums too. A tank is moving like on ice. This is a very bad idea. A tank should be stable on the ground and not slip on the ground as if it was on ice. 9.14 did bring one good thing and that is the circle on the map. Next add damage panel and remove xvm from live matches and it's done. Ohh an if many people have their say about this Physics, I expect WG to remove it. We are not in NEED FOR SPEED here. This is tank game.

Looks like he backed up that rock.

 

In getting rid of the sticking on edges problem they created the being able to jack yourself up so far you fall over problem.

the new physics is really rubbish when you get it sounds like it has bounced then you realise that half your hp has gone before you move  the new sound is nothing like real tanks and as for flipping tanks over totaly  un realistic like tier 8 heavy on its side and for tanks drifting that is a joke 40 ton tanks dont drift and slide it is and as for light tanks just going over rocks and you turn on completey up side down dosent happen in realality fix this or put it back as it was before  war gameing totoly spoilt a brilliant game
