  • Adding the ability to select the type of speaker system (2.0 or 2.1) in the settings menu

That's very 90's of you.

 

What about those with full surround systems?

The 9.15 updated motion physics patch looks like it will give a welcome improvement to 'tanks on a Ice rink' I'm hoping so anyway

lost count of the times iv flipped over onto my side (for god knows why reason)  then the entire game goes by where I'm useless and helpless to my teammates only to be a easy kill at the end


 

or - I fall off a sand dune into a ravine or slide down a steep hill or while moving fast on a flat surface then or go airborne at speed fly over a ditch (never happen in 9.13) and watch as my tank explodes on hitting the ground nearly always for its full health to explode instantly destroying the tank - again rendering me now of zero help and useless to my team

Looks good as a light tank player flipping has been a problem its quite funny when you go over completely and right yourself but ending up on your side or worse upside down has been a pain.

It makes me very careful how I drive some lights.

 

Sounds I like though the gun sounds when you are in sniper mode are a little poor, they might actually be realistic but would prefer it to sounds more like I imagine a tank gun sounds be it boom or crack just not a very pathetic sounding click.

 

Other than that sounds are great though I would wish the Sphalpanzer SP1C didnt sound quite so wimpy

I hate it when i want to turn my tank but i cant because of one shitty track wheel is hitting the wall... :facepalm:

Good stuff!

 

My 2 most annoying 'features' of the new physics - high health loss on low impact falls (once lost 700hp, broke my ammo rack and killed my loader going down a small dip in my Obj 704) and bumping into something and stopping dead without any means of 'sliding' away without having to reverse.

 

Very nice to see issues being addressed before more content being added!

I think this is a great Quality of life patch, thanks for the physics improvements. Getting stuck on tiny edges was driving me crazy.

LOL  "A large amount of damage received when falling"... When I contacted support about it they said I just needed to take care of how I drive and it was not a problem in their eyes. Now see 9.15 where it is a key bugfix.

 

Is WG.eu just incompetent or do they just not give a crap?  <- rhetorical question, as they are both.

Not at all, they will apparently buff the T95E6 so it will be actually competitive.

 

A part form that I'm hoping for a buff to the TVU concept so the gun depression with the top turret is as good as with the stock turret and the weight will be made the same (turrets same size but top turret somehow much heavier).

Good! Because when my Type61 took 1200hp (!!!!) damage from falling about 1 meter I was thoroughly amazed (in a negative way) with the new so called improved physics.

Of course the question here is, why was most of this not already discovered and solved during playtesting?

There is also a problem with tanks currently getting to positions they could not before the physics patch.

Well I don't think anyone decision making will read or either be informed about what is been said in here but here goes nothing.

 

9.14 sounds do make the game more immersing, 9.15 low and medium damage are good enough but

the high damage I think is not. That deep sound you put on end is well intended but not spot on, would prefer a whole different sound but 

 

9.14  physics is busted as you very well acknowledged BUT you missed at least 1 thing...

150 Tones O-I DOES NOT - WILL NOT for the love of God BOUNCE LIKE A BALL when falling.

It might pulverize anything below it OR brake in to pieces according to ground hardness, BUT it will

NEVER bounce like a ball, and I'm not referring bouncing on the suspension.

The physics only needed a small fix, sounds are ok, though the fix for sounds is un-needed.
