finally PM changes that make sense! At least couple of those I've been banging my head on for quite some time now. 

 

though, I suspect, there are other PMs that might need some rework.

Another awesome update..... No more having to use XVM now as everything i used it for has now been put in the core game, nice work WG, keep it up :)

good job on all of the new features, it really is getting close to the time where no res_mods folder is needed, hopefully this will result in less crashes and hassle with each new update.... but most importantly, this allows a level playing field for ALL players..... unless of course you are driving a T-34-3, the  field will be bumpy, too bumpy to get any depression on the gun :trollface:

Only thing missing is a 3 row carrousel for tanks and a Dmg.Panel ingame...and you Win me for once!

 there will be a number to show how many tanks are participating in the capture

 

If there're 5 tanks in the base, will the counter show 3 or 5 tanks then? Reason I'm asking is because, while I know that the maximum capping speed is 3 tanks in the cap, it could be usefull to know how many of the enemies that actually are in the base :)

LT 15 i think is the only one broken in my opinion  for 55a and 260 it depends on luck...

why no change to LT15?? Its so redicolous....and why you change Arty10, which is quite easy, but not the one where you have to hit a tank and kill another tank with one shot? THATS the most redicolous mission ever....

I think that the two most important things in XVM were:

 

- minimap "last seen" position of enemy tanks (already implemented in WoT)

- sign/icon on "team panel" showing which vehicles are unspotted yet (so you can plan your advance and calculate risk knowing which other enemy tanks you can encounter on the way, besides those already spotted)

 

well - wn8, and nationality flag is also nice thing to have

Interesting changes assume these are just examples of some of them because quite a few are counter to good team play.

 

Hoping really that you will change some of the PMs that have requirements like take no damage have no damaged crew or modules or remain unspotted because those requirements mess up games.

The are almost certain to make players get their mission requirements then go and hide

 

The incinerator MT 12 is a odd change.

Stug IV set an enemy on fire no change np

T28 changed from set an enemy of the same tier or higher on fire to set an enemy on fire and do 2000 damage so thats actually been made harder.

T55 and Object 260 versions have both been made easier.

 

One of the good things about the PMs is that a lot of players have a chance to do at least some of them as for the first chain its tier 4 or higher so many players can get started on the mission chains and as they get higher tier tanks eventually finish them.

But you really need high tier tanks to have a hope of finishing some of the chains mostly the ones needing high damage or armour.

 

I need 2 missions for the T28 stuck on MT13 at the moment 4000 damage is a bit out of my league really maybe I will have to platoon to do it.

Strange that you don't actually have to platoon but if you do some of the missions become very easy. ;)

Multirow carrousel is kinda must for us horders with almost 300 slots used.

LT15 for the StuG? It's not that hard actually unless you try it with tier 2-4 tanks. The first time I got 5K spotting was in an ELC in a tier 8 game, and recently got it finished with honors in like 2-3 games in an LTTB. I was just sitting behind end below the top bush on malinovka while 3 guys were blind firing the bush next to me for about 40-50 shots scratching their heads why they kept being spotted yet they could not hit anything in that bush. Just complete and utter camping for the first 5-6 minutes hoping one guy did not wise up and aim for the next bush (where I was), and I had over 6K spotting.

 

 

 

The caroussel is in xvm if you want it, but yeah, WG should add that.

 

Also a function like the auto-telescope that changes out the binoculars/camonet between tanks so you don't have to buy a set for every TD.

First: Very good changes.

 

With 121 garage slots, filters are a must to have any chance of sorting my tanks. It's good that I don't have to rely on a third-party mod anymore to do this. It would be still better if a two- or three row carousel would come with it.

And it would be ideal if the very concept of the carousel were overhauled so that I can just sort my tanks any way I want. That would be just the most convenient way. Either simple drag-and-drop or right-click and select the number of slot I want to put the tank to would make that very easy.

 

But, good changes. I will put all my three mutant thumbs up.

Considering it is a platoon mission, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't platoon if you struggle even a slightest on dealing that amount of damage. Use dynamic platoons, tho I would suggest you to tell in chat beforehand that you need it for a platoon mission.

 

Oh and SPG-12 for T55a and O260 seems to me slightly harder than before. Especially for 260 as you can't really be countering and dealing 4k damage in a game but then again killing 2 arties when your team is yoloing after them when them game is basically won and you having 30+ second reload is not a good combination.

Nice upgrades! But you'll never teach the muppets who think competing with 6 other friendly tanks for the final kill but losing is better than capping for the win.
