Hi all,

I have a nasty problem. I've come to realize that WoT was installed on my computer without a WoT file, meaning it was just thrown into Programms. I don't know which files/programms belong to World of Tanks, so I can't reorder them. And I really don't want to reinstall.

I'd be glad if someone could help me!!!

Thx.

So usually you would find your files in: C:/Programms x86/World_of_Tanks/ etc.

For me it's: C:/Programms x86/ etc. -----> mixed up with all my other stuff!

i`d say that you should use the deinstaller, because that way you remove all the wot filed from Programs x86.

then you reinstall it, but this time in the right place

I don't want to reinstall if I can avoid it, but if there's no other way . . .

(My internet isn't nice with downloads)

I would also recommend a complete reinstall. Even if you did find all files and folders, and got them back into the correct structure you would still be messing with your registry (creating new entries and making the old ones obsolete and therefore cluttering it). While everything most likely would work, you do not want to cause any extra mess in your registry, this is one of the main reasons windows installations go bad and you have to reinstall the OS.

You may be right, I don't want to mess everything up completely!

My bandwidth isn't gonna like this!

Yeah, but hopefully you wont have to do it again for some time. :)

I only noticed the problem when I tried to get myself QuickyBaby's Mod Pack, and obviously that's rather hard to do with everything in the wrong place.

I still dread the thought of downloading all that stuff again!
