Have 56.4 hours of the most random music I could find... Too much to go through. Is it weird that I like "Barbie Girl"? :/

If an incredibly good guitarist having fun playing a banjo parody (with keytar solo!) doesn't make you smile, you probably shouldn't bother watching this one either.

that makes me feel good. im not a huge fan of frantic drumming it invokes feelings of urgency in me and thus puts me on edge slightly.

lets accept that my tastes differ from yours.. the drumming in master of puppets sounds like a boss fight at the end of level 99.:teethhappy:

I thought this was a thread to post music you enjoy, not that I had to understand anyone's tastes .. the first song I posted should have given a pointer to the fact that my tastes are eclectic.

Anyway, I know the orchestral album you mention, it's good but it's not a patch on actual classical music. I'm as partial to Bach as I am to Anthrax as I am to They Might Be Giants. Talking of which, have a couple of achingly 80s classics :)

I saw Clannad on your video and thought cool, they knew Herne the Hunter! But no, it seems it's a different Clannad (unless they've been binging on mushrooms they found in Herne's magic forest and are having an episode). It's all good though, as per this other crazy 90's song I remembered yesterday that is clearly where the whole idea for the Matrix came from, a bit (and I forgot I saw these in Leeds, they were supported by Eldritch & separately the Mission in a benefit gig for homeless, but they were ace & best set).

The Clannad I linked is the visual novel/anime, not the irish folk band. ;)

:-)

Looking at old music, particularly from the 1990's, what happened? Probably Tony Blair, our Obama who turned out to be a Bush pushing another property bubble for the rich, now we're all too worried about (student & personal) debt, getting a job & on property ladder before it's too late, property prices, pensions etc, for young people to have time to have fun, be free & positive any more. But wasn't it good for a bit...

I wonder if she's the lady space engine off Hyperdrive, or was at least the inspiration for it? Hyperdrive was ace.
