Nice easy question - is the extra armour and 10m more view range on the upgrade turret, worth the huge 'shoot me here' cupola on the roof??

Have fun all, Isaneng

To be fair, I should add that the new turret takes nearly 0.4 secs off the reload, taking dpm from 2270 to 2470, gives 70 more hp and the view range in my fit is +13m.

And still that big cupola worries me...

if you are worried about cupola on paper armored medium with abhorrent gundepression, then you are doing it wrong

this tank is all about mobility and DPM who cares if turret that is easily penned anyway has big cupola on top of it

So you really expected to bounce shots with A-43 when you asked this question?

Yes, because it also does one more thing. It improves the tanks aim time, which helps you make better use of the (outstanding for a tier six) dispersion on the move.

it plays like a high DPM light tank, the dispersion isnt jsut outstanding, its downright INSANE and unfair ... xD

problem is that T7 that follows is a simple downgrade to this awesome little monster ... same gun (or terribad "better one" more suited for a heavy ... ) on so SO much worse platform i simply cannot stomach grinding that line any further ...

Asghaad, General Mc, you misunderstand. I am not trying to bounce shots. I am trying to avoid getting hit at all! That huge cupola stack means that I am visible long before my gun line crests the ridge, hence making me open to being spotted and hit before I can shoot. Sorry, was not trying to claim an A43 would ever bounce anything!

you DONT crest the ridges in the tank with 3 degrees of gundepression, or you do it at 50 kph where that cupola is irrelevant.

simply play it like TD/Lighttank hybrid, make use of its great viewrange and mobility and try to snipe sides of enemies with that awesome 57mm rapid fire cannon

It actually has five degrees of gun depression, not three.  The rest of it is true enough however.
