Time for the annual Military Parade, and you can't have a parade without an interesting tank, right? This week it's the powerful ISU-122S!

While I'm tempted to get this vehicle I've already got too many premium vehicles that I don't play.

Maybe if you add it in the in-game shop for gold I might get it but I know you wont as you'd like people to spend money twice if possible.

Already have it and I gotta say, the DPM is beyond Godlike.

If you already own the SU-122-44 I wouldn't recommend this one. It's much slower and the armor is a bit worse. The DPM difference is not big.

The only two things going for ISU-122s are view range and gun depression.

Is the gun handling better on the ISU (compared to su-122-44)? Does it have better camo?

Does someone have both tanks so they can tell me is it worth buying if I already have su-22-44? I'd like to have a better version of it if it has better gun handling..

I have both and yes the weapon handling is a little better have added a link to tanks GG showing 122-44, ISU122s SU152 and ISU152 when they mount the 122mm gun.

The main reason I got the 122s is the crew which matches the Russian heavy TD line SU152 - Object 268 it saves you having to train a second loader.

View range 20 better gun depression better rof better speed armour and maneuverability worse

It's not very mobile (although it's not sluggish), nowadays maps doesn't favor anymore non-turreted TDs and the penetration is a bit low for a TD (although with improved income you can shoot more skillammo on Tier 8-9).

But it has improved armor and view range over the regular SU-152. And that DPM! (3665 with rammer) When you get that game where you are top Tier and have the occasion to bushkemp, it's truly a monster. 4k damages for my first defeat and some nice things like flank+permatrack a full hp Jagdtiger,... ^^

And comes with a super crew. Very good tank overall.

I am contemplating on getting this or not, as a tank collector..... I have the SU-122-44 but also the more premiums the better and more crew trainers and credits, no?

Got them both. It's not worth compared to Su-122-44. Dpm of 122-44 it's not far from Isu, plus you have armor and mobility.  And also 122-44 farms more silver. The main advantage of Isu-122S is the crew. If in backdays there was a rental option i would never buyed it. Like was said before me current meta of game it's not very friendly to non-turreted TD's, especaly when it comes combined with 175 mm penetration.

I bought it the first time it appeared and love it ! I play mine more than my SU122-44 as it seems to suit me more . Recommended to any that like Ruski TDs

I've had it for a while and I hardly ever play it. I find it sluggish, and so far I have never quite managed to realize the good DPM which it theoretically has. But perhaps that's just me, I'm generally not much of a TD player.

On balance, I would still say, however, that of the four "Berlin Trio" tanks, this is by far the most uninspiring. Buy it for the good crew, else go for the SU122-44 instead.

I have both and I can say that the reload on the isu-122s catches a lot of people out! Has brilliant games in both but currently enjoying the 122s more because of its novelty value.

Good tank but also worth it for the five man BIA crew.

So, its pretty much Su-152 lane tank, that mount 122 gun instead 152. Accourding Tanks.gg, pretty much same gun handling dpm and all. Rest of tank also seems pretty much same. If you enjoy its lane, no reason not to like this. But as i'm not fan of nonturret tds anymore, will be passing this.

Looking foward Mutz next week tho (after having PattonKR recently), as long as i can get it "alone".

Age of turetless td's is long gone in this game. Maps are terrible , 1 vs 1 you are completely useless (any scout can take a hit to get in your back and will end the game for you).

Neah don't spend your money. useless crap.

The 122-44 has an amazing mobility it's really a joy to play.

After gaining the Object704 I decided to keep the ISU152 and needed a second Russian heavy TD crew so it was a good deal for me.

The ISU122s is training those TD crews and the SU122-44 is training the SU101 to Object263 line

I am a bit of a premium tank addict I blame retirement and a bit more spare cash but I think I am missing maybe 4 premium tanks for a full set bit sad really.

RU servers had discount on 112. We, ofc, couldnt have it. Wanted to buy it before removal, but yeah, WG just removed it even without a proper warning that this tank will be removed. Really, morons are working in EU servers offices.. And now, yeah, buy the new prem TD. Give them some money.. They really care about their "Tank collectors"....

We had a discount on the 112 all last week and the removal had been flagged up for many weeks because it was no longer available on the test server. And the 122S isn't new......

Mmm...somehow that 122 discount passed me by...it isn't listed in the old news either...and I was looking for it.

Most of the coverage about withdrawal only appeared at the end of last week, so I'm not surprised people were caught by it. I wasn't, but if you can point out the coverage of its withdrawal "many weeks" ago, I'd be interested in seeing it...I'm not sure you're right there.
