Could you be more specific please on these "big differences", e.g. are they lower/higher than expected, does it happen for a single random battle, or does it happen when playing frontline, ...

Hello guys! I hope you had a good summer. I'm back to my PC, so it's time for an update.

Update:

  - Updated for 1.6.0.4.

(Notice that you can easily update the mod yourself by renaming the folder 1.6.0.4, within the mod, to the current version.)

Hey Tomonik, welcome back. I have a request for you on behalf of modpacks.

Many modpacks (mine included), use a macro for the mods and res_mods version dir. This means that if all you did for your update was change the folder number, then there is nothing that we, as a modpack, need to do. So, when you post your update, can you please differentiate between "updating the folder version number" and "updating the python script". I can't speak for all modpacks, but this would save my database team time (especially during patch days), because instead of having to download the mod and check the md5 hash, they can just read here if the script was updated or not.

Thanks for your work!

Hello,

mod cache file is updating after every battle but mod is invisible. It is just me? (1.6.0.7)

Is there any line with mod_stat.py in python.log, with a recent timestamp?

Another thing you could test: Close WoT, rename cache file, open WoT again and check if it shows.

(I have modded this mod, and mine did also not show since the cache included steel hunter battles, but the vehicles of that mode are no longer available in the game and it failed at that point. But I don't know if default mod also collected steel hunter battles.)

Hi,

it is ok now, cache.json was overloaded. It can hold just limited quantity of battles.

Thx.

Have you tried looking for that file?

Of course, the file is there, as always

Edit: There is a temporary solution, copy the folder wotstat to win32/res_mods/config and it works. Both folder res_mods and config don't exist in win32, it must be created. But it's just a temporary solution, the script must be corrected, because mods should be in the main folder.

I've taken a look into it and found that WG played around a bit with separate versions for 32 and 64 bit, unfortunately they did it in a way to have things expectably broken.

For those of you looking for a workaround in the meantime, until there's an official update: You can copy the "config" folder from <install_path>\res_mods\ to <install_path>\win32\res_mods (the latter folder has to be created first).

Doing that i managed to log in to the game and see the mod working in the notification pane, I have not tried to play a game since I have to fix a couple other mods first, but since it works that far I would expect it to also work with battles being played.

Please note that after an official fix, you've gotta take care of that work around yourself.

Just change the folder name or copy the files to the new directory. 90% of the updates the previous version works just fine.
