That is the reason behind this whole initiative! This gives us the opportunity to radically change parts of the game for testing with a large audience that can provide us with feedback on the changes. This wouldn't be feasible on a regular test server.

We will be picking a mix of players based on a variety of criteria which should lead to a good mix of player skill.

well just start by eliminating the gold shells from random battles only and maybe game will be better again. just put gold to clan wars or strongholds and that sort of game play. for the random casual player it would be better not to have gold all around and maybe then people will start learning to play just maybe. u can start by that.

and even with only gold shells in clan wars etc u will make money wg.

Here's hoping, I want to see what happens to high-tier lights, let's see it WG!

 

Rapid test deployment FTW, throw everything at us and watch the magic happen.

 

But definitely start with NO premium ammunition allowed to better understand the mechanics behind armor in the game and how useless it tends to be.

I would really like to see a role for tier 8 light tanks that cannot be covered by tier 9/10 mediums.

 

There is an argument that tier 7/8 scouts get matchmade as tier 8/9 mediums and therefore should be considered comparable in effectiveness, but the only real strenght they have over them is camo on the move and somewhat better mobility, which in tier X matches does not amount to much. Hope to see increased capture rates for lights, smoke launchers (a lot of those are already modelled on tanks) etc.

 

Who would take a T-54 Lightweight over an Object 140, or more adequately - a T-54 if both are available...?

 

Unrelated, but hoping to see Scorpion etc. as tier 6+ British scouts.

Hello, as im telling to my wot friends for a year now, they are allowing mods to get good ideas from them, to improve the game.

But now is time i think to remove them completly.

I was very strong in IS7 2 years ago, got penetrated 1 out of 4 shots, now people who see IS7 for the first time, penetrate 3 out of 4, thanks to aimbot.

No one needs to know weak spots, better or worse angles to pen, they are all just clicking, no zoom needed either, just click while looking at the other side.

We cant ask them to remove gold amo, its they profit, but aim boot is realy ruining the game.

Aimbot is barely an issue. If you re around 1,5k wn8 player, aimbot will only hinder you...

Speaking of "the game should be fun to players" then once you see the video you get another battle with 6 Grille's and 3 arties on a trash map.

Why don't you just rebalance the matchmaking first?

- For example limit teams, to have 2 LTs, 1 Arty (even 2 max) and then limit roles, not just to get 1 battle full medium lineup, one full Tank destroyer lineup.

Thats all what should have been fixed long ago. Just limit roles so we don't get crapmatchmaking games anymore, only that kind of games ruin the joy of this game.

Cant Wait To Help Balance This Game, Its Nice To See WG Collaborating With Their Players And Listening To Them To Help Make It Better :) This Is Surely The Start Of Something Good :P

Requirements to join :  have atleast 40% of battles in arty

                                     have  <47% winrate

Well, of course there will be some. WG can't exactly exclude their largest audience (skill-wise) - and we all know what that'll mean regarding clickers...

But does anyone else remember that vid with the CEO of WG, he said something like they'll be inviting the top players to test stuff out? Is this what they meant - on the sandbox server?

Biggest problem is arty and xvm and I think most of us can agree. Yeah, bad mm is bad but what does it matter if you've got great MM when arty just obliterates you regardless. Application sent, lets see.
