Anybody else itching to get their mitts on it ?

It's looking pretty good.

Looks interesting. Never been a fan of battlefield, but this one is might be first I ever buy. Also at least it is not another CoD trash devs spit out yearly.

Might be a game from the series i would play again if they keep the tech 1900s, not overexaggerate effects and stop milking players with every dlc that you "need" to be able to play.

The BF and CoD series forced me not to pay for and play the game anymore for quite a while.

Actually, the last few BF games werent all that much to my liking. Getting back in the old war theathre scene actually appeals alot to me. I'll be getting this one.

But I'm not preordering just yet. Ubisoft taught me that is a bad idea.

If there is no "hardcore mode", no sale.

(One of my biggest annoyances with this series is that there is NO realism whatsoever. There needs to be a "realism mode" regardless if that makes it an a-symetrical game)

So basically, no sale...

I wonder how bland the gaming industry would be if every genre followed the same ethos. if you want realism arma 3 is amazing.

Why, you don't like extra options?

FPS games used to have those game modes. But kiddies can't handle dying so they stupidify their games.

A game I wanted to like but I had to admit that grand strategy games just don't appeal to me. I think part of the problem is that my gaming is quite erratic now so I end up having to play through the tutorial every time I go back to them.

Copy that! - Even as simple as Fallout4, I need to find out how the key bindings are, when starting that up again - And it takes too much effort, so I turn back to WoT :P

The problem I have with games like Fallout are I completely forget what I was doing the last time I played it. The same has happened with Divinity: Original Sin - didn't play it for a few months and I'm buggered if I can remember what the quest was all about.

Thank god for quest logs. I remember the days when you didn't have all this information to hand in-game but were instead expected to make your own notes. There's lots of things that I don't like about modern PC games but that's not one of them.

This is on my wishlist.  Paradox usually release countless add-ons, so I only buy the main games and the dlc on steam sales.  I've watched it being played on YouTube, and I think it will make a nice stablemate to EU4 and CK2.

Yeh looking forward to it, was a big BF3 player and Bad Company before that but BF4 was poor, plus bored of the modern/near future setting every FPS has been doing for the last 10 years.

Would have preferred WW2, but still looking forward to doing some dakka dakka from a bi-plane or pinging people with a lee-enfield.

I love extra options in the form of other titles. much more varied than having 1 game that pretends to cater for everyone and excels at nothing.;)
