hi fellow tankers, So my PC has burnt out and I'm lost with out being able to play, so I'm getting a new one as fast as possible, I'm currently looking at AMD A8 6600k with the intergrated gpu 8750d , am I making a bad move here ? I'm used to 70 fps on high settings if this isn't doable on this machine then I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer , any advice would be much apriciated.

Yes, very bad idea. Integrated graphics are allways horrible and are not for gaming. This might just be my opinnion but i would avoid amd if i were you. They alwasy seem to have issues (i never had a radeon that did not cause some sort of artifacts and i stil dont have a working amd setup). AMD is cheaper so if you are on a very tight budget it's ok but for the love of all that's holy, get a dedicated card. Still if it's even remotely possible for you go for intel and an nvidia card.

Np, and good choise, the i5's are really solid cpu's for gaming. I would also recommend that you look at some benchmarks and comparisons of gpu's so that you get the best bang for your buck. Just search the internet and you will find hundreds of them. :great:

How much money are you willing to spend and in which country do you live?

Which other games do you play?

I only play world of tank, warships and warplanes, tried war thunder but think it's a lot of rubbish. £300 is my budget at the moment and I live in south of uk

With your budget I'd probably look at something used.

If you want to get everything new then I'd just take an i3-6100 because it's not so expensive, has high single core performance which is very good for wot. get the cheapest mobo you can get and a single stick of 8GB DDR4 memory. I'd also recommend getting an SSD, you pretty much can't go without one these days but I guess a HDD will work as well, will save you a couple of bucks but you also lose a lot of speed doing so. Cheap case and then something like a Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 400W will do.

For just under 300 pounds you can get:

i3-6100

MSI H110M Pro-VD

8GB DDR4

240GB SSD

Zalman ZM-T4

Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 400W

With this you do not have a GPU but you do have something that ill run WoT quite well. You can always save up money to get a GPU later on, be it second hand.
