Basically, I decided to use the same crew to unlock Ami cars I need. That pretty much means:

  • 1 Commander (Nothing out of the ordinary, all tanks need one)
  • 1 Driver (same)
  • 2 Gunners (For Artillery and such)
  • 2 Loaders (same)

The issue is that my Chaffee is stuck with a Radio man, that most high tiered tanks can go very well without.

Going back down gives me the same radio man on the M5 and an inadequate gun.

Going up will take me a long time to get the T37 elited and I'd rather not since it is much slower and taller.

I need an Ami car that has the least amount of crew members so the Exp pts don't get spread so thinly. If this was an ELC I wouldn't mind reseting qualifications for gold but French stuff doesn't entice me...

I have 2 skills and the 3rd one is on 87%. Suggestions?

Oh... No one? Anything? Or is the Chaffee THE best trainer to begin with?

(I usually get a lightning fast response... ;* )

Exp doesnt get spread out. If you get 1k exp from a match, all of your crewmembers that were alive at the end of your match get that same 1k exp, each. If they werent alive or wounded at the end of that match, they get only 90% of that exp.

You're probably not getting much replies untill now because your question in unclear. You want to train everything in a chaffee?

If you're asking about a vehicle suitable for crewtraining, then you're most likely asking for advice to choose a premium tank. After all, a crew thats already qualified for a same class vehicle as your premium tank can be placed and used without penalty without retraining. The lower tier a premium tank, the more exp it will make. This bonus exp is dependant on the tier of your premium tank and the bonus runs linear from 70% bonus at tier 2, to 10% at tier 8. Premium tanks also get a flat 50% bonus to whatever exp you made in a match that will be applied as crew exp only.

If you were to use the Chaffee to train all your light tank crews, you will still need to retrain and the costs of this quickly add up to a few thousand gold or alot of time wasted on getting extra exp when your retrain with credits. Its actually cheaper and alot faster to buy a low tier premium tank to train your crew with. The choices in that category are very limited, and I think that only the M22 Locust at tier 3 is suitable due to its Commander, Driver and Gunner crew. As pointed out, the bonuses in exp points means that the time to train a crew with a tank like this is much shorter.

Hope that helps

Chaffee is uber, but in fact the whole line is.
IF you know what you are doing, otherwise, lights are not the best choice.

I like the M4 and M6 as medium and heavy tanks to train crew for higher tiers.

With accelerated crew training, the worst crew member gets double xp.

Over a number games, that translates to a 1/N bonus, where N is the number of crew members.

So a smaller crew will get more skills pet crew member faster.

A larger crew earns more crew XP in total.

Um... my Idea was to max out as many skills/perks as I could before going up the rest of the American lines using the exact same crew... I thought ACT would only give EXP to the least trained member. Guess that was wrong...

So,

  1. The larger a crew is, the more exp they will receive?
  2. The smaller a crew is, the quicker they are trained?

Tough choice...

So Chaffee has 5 crew.

Let's say you average 1000 xp

Per game:

(5+1)*1000=6000 total crew XP (5+1/5)*1000=1200 individual crew XP

Trains 5 skills at once

T37 has 4 crew. Per game:

(4+1)*1000=5000 total, (4+1/4)*1000=1250 individual

Trains 4 skills at once

He's no trainer... All he has to do is show up and win because everyone else will defect.
